This video is for "Installers" showing you the "New Vaillant Ecotec Plus Combination Boiler with it's all New Touch Screen Display". Unboxing, what's changed and what's new and of course "Commissioning the New Vaillant Ecotec Plus Combination Boiler ".
I'll show you how to run though the commissioning proses. Because there are some new parameters to be set or adjusted. But I will explain everything so you can commission the boiler with out any problems.
Hopefully I answer your questions so you have no unexpected surprises.

Hi Mark, Great very instructive video. I really enjoyed it. Small question. Can one use a timer function on the “home domestic water comfort function” (eg. from 07 am to 07 PM and then off) or do you have to change it manually in the app? Looking forward to your new videos.

With regards to filling, if you power up before filling it will enter purge mode whilst filling to clear air from the heat exchanger via the AAV. 👍🏻

Hi Mark having installed a couple of the new 625 models we have had problems with them stuck on low flame so will only reach around 53c if we reset it will go to full flame and the next day it reverts back to low flame any idea's Regards Richard

Hi Mark, great video - thanks. I also bougt an ecoTec Plus a few weeks ago and when testing some things i put it into summer mode by pressing the heater button 3 seconds. My problem is that i use a Tado smart controller on the eBus instead of a Vaillant controller - Tado can not end the summer mode - will resetting the boiler to factory settings and configure it new based on the diagnostic infos end the summer mode on the boiler? And is there any risk when resetting to factory settings?

Hello Mark, Can I replace my old VRC470/4 controller with a newer controller? Do they all work with 24V ? Do I need an adapter plug for the newer controller? I have a VWL 85/2 A heating/cooling system. Thanks.

Hi, Mark Thanks for the info. I have a question. I have Vaillant Ecotec Plus system boiler plus unvented cylinder. When the boiler is on, the radiator is working but there is no hot water. I have tried the DHW (domestic hot water) setting on and off seperately, but still no hot water. Wondering what go wrong, thanks

Radiator mode has dash across it meaning it's off - how do you get it on ?

Weird things happening with out install (occurring as I type this) there is no option to set whether the boiler is using weather compensation, and under the diagnostic codes there is no option for 162, there is just 161 and 164. Tried a factory reset and nothing.

They made an easy menu from past models into a tedious and long winded annoying one! Best keep the installer number hidden. Customers love to play around with boiler settings then claim they didn't touch it.
