Love ❤️ the wish list idea 💡 I agree finding myself / season I’m in . I’m a function planner . I always start looking for a new planner as soon as back to school supplies come out . I watch for deals now.My plan is to try it first !

I am very stubborn - which helps with FOMO. Instead of going to buy something new, I always try to replicate with what I have on hand already. I love the idea of putting the wishlist right next to the savings tracker.

I tend to like change which definitely tends to fit with FOMO. honestly what I did is I purchased a couple different planners still that if I have that feeling of wanting change I already have the planners to change around with, therefore I do not need to buy anymore. I love your suggestions here especially the list of savings and wish list. I definitely could use help being accountable. It is something I am definitely working. I am really love absolutely every video you do Darian. Thank you so much!

Loved this video. I don't think I've seen your videos, but now I'm going to watch a bunch. Love what you say about FOMO - I got sucked in this year, but this is my first year planning so I really got sucked in with FOMO. Now I think I've found something that works for me and I'd love to try to sell a bunch of the other stuff I bought. Great video! Thank you for sharing.

@@DarianPlans I am learning that I can create my own system within my planner. That I am more of a functional planner and that I don’t need all the bells as whistles. I didn’t realize that people use more than one planner ( I am now one of those people) because I need to keep personal and business separate. The fact that there is a planner community!!! I had no clue, I stumbled across it going down the youtube rabbit whole this past September lol. The biggest thing so far is that this is a form of me time or self care & it will help me with managing my time.

Love the side-by-side savings and wishlist. Also, trying the idea in my own planner first before investing in another planner system makes sense as well. 👍👍

The one time I was glad I gave in to planner FOMO was when you shared the grand blush planner cover from NOTIQ! It fits my MakseLife perfectly! One good FOMO out of a sea of bad FOMO's, lol!

Thank you so much for these tips.. I have actually already started a wish list in my 2021 planner because I realised I spent so much in this last quarter trying to figure out what I like and what I don’t. So right after my very last EC purchase(hopefully it’s the last for this year), I set up my wish list and I also broke it down into different categories such as my personal use, stuff for my home and also for my kids. I’m planning on looking at this list at the end of each month to see if I’m still keen in getting the things on my list. Hope I can keep at it:)

Loved this. Greta tips. I love everything in one place hence I'll be using Makse for 2021. But I just realised that I still have multiple planners . I must have a separate Faith Planner, a family budget planner and a work planner plus my Makse. And I use them all

Love your tips! I've actually printed some of the Mäksē Life System and added it to my current Happy Planner to try before I buy the planner. I think I will like it and that it would be beneficial but I wanted to make sure before I commit.

Currently in a bullet journal... I am a multiple planner girl, but I also like all of my things in the same space 😳 so I started with a discbound, and I still love it, but I have to make my own pages in order to be happy, and My season of life doesn’t support that right now. That’s why I’m in the bujo, I can use it how I want, when I want.

Yes yes yes! I love hearing that and love how you recognized what season of life you're in and what you needed and how you were able to switch from the disc to the Bujo. Do you have a prefer journal you like using for your Bujo?

I’ve used three different planners this year and didn’t really click with any of them. I’m using printouts for the MakseLife spreads (because I’m team BOB for 2021) to finish this year out and get a feel for how I want to work within the two formats. I’ve used a bullet journal with some success, but that was more of a daily to-do with some memory keeping, not so much *planning* and was also maybe a bit TOO flexible for me. I think I need the structure or I slide right off the rails. My hope is for 2021 to use the hybrid Makse (ALL YEAR) and a notebook, period. And I need to just stay away from the Happy Planner stuff, except for the stickers. I think the disc system is just not for me.

We are like kindred planner spirits lol because I personally use my Makselife Hybrid planner for everything and I use a bullet journal but I ONLY use it for faith stuff and it's nothing planner related and next year I just plan to continue with my system and a notebook 🥰❤️

@@DarianPlans in this particular instance, I’m pretty sure it was all the roller coaster emotions of November, a significant disruption of my routine (moved back home for a few months since work is allowing “distance telework”), and my therapist needing to take a month off to deal with a death in the family. I’m feeling much more in control, so I’m hoping I’m back on the right track.
