Well Bungie once again has succeeded in making it so we can't succeed unless we're power players with lots of friends. So much for the casual guy that wants to run through and get some good stuff.

I really dislike this activity 😅 the uneven ledges have made so many guardians botch jumps, the boost orbs are finicky at best

take away the timer its easy why make it artificially difficult instead of actually making it difficult the bungie way

This is why I don't do certain activities. Most of the times I die in activities is because of these jumping puzzles.

So they decided to take some of the most hated mechanics in the games past, including Lightfall, an expansion widely panned and criticized as unfun, frustrating and lame, and they decided to use all of those things again... The people who work on Destiny 2 really should be forced to actually play the game at least one, the disconnect between the developers and how the game actually plays is ridiculous. Adding time limits is artificial difficulty, it's a crutch. It doesn't help that Destiny 2 is notorious for its janky physics, especially with jumping, which are factors which come very heavily into play in this mission. I have had to come up with terms for some of the physics jank just to gave a face to my enemy, such as... *Environmental Ricochet* - Where the Player bounces in another direction when they touch or collide with a peice of scenery(which would not happen under real physics *Landing Slide* - When the player lands on seemingly even surfaces but the games janky physics causes the Player model to slide in one direction, which can lead to the player sliding off of platforms and objects during platforming. *No Jumping Jump Sections* - When the game forces the player into a jumping/platform section yet clearly does not want the Player to jump/do platforming. Most notoriously, they put something above where you must jump so you hit it and fall

I literally just wiped before the first portal. Lmao... Why tf is the timer THIS unforgiving??? The amount of trial and error you're expected to engage in is genuinely masochistic. And that's not even mentioning how fucking stupid it is that this is a WEEK ONE mission that you literally physically cannot complete with anything less than 1990 power. Like ??? I've completed literal raids with fewer wipes than this shit.
