Man, Gavin was speaking the truth, and he was 100% right about Chris having the advantage of not having to blindside anybody, all he did was stay on the Edge, and just copy what he heard Wardog and some others say needed to be done to win.
@Mirarosie9 күн бұрын
Again, he played with what he had, he played to the twist and won soooo…
@kyledouglas13948 күн бұрын
Wardog was the most instrumental player of that season; he was responsible for most of the boot order and he shaped out the returning game. If he could win challenges, he would have been a very deserving winner. And yes, he is a jerk haha
@ajl97723 күн бұрын
@Mirarosie sort of missing his point. It's not a criticism of Chris, but the twist itself. Person from edge really had an enormous advantage. It was poorly thought out.
@onion71024 жыл бұрын
I don't see how Gavin bombed that question. He was doomed anyway because people were already voting for Chris, so at least he said the plain truth about what he was feeling.
@eagerturtle47914 жыл бұрын
It was the truth, but the worst thing to say to a jury full of people from the edge!
@adamreitman79685 күн бұрын
That was Gavin’s best argument he could make. Chris got voted out on day 8 and came back the last few days. I think he argued it correctly but was facing a jury very pro Chris.

@@jpbproductions3872 No she hasn't. She even did an interview in 2015 about winning a Final 3 with Grant and Phillip, which means she is still blindly stupid and delusional. After being mercilessly ridiculed, even by a bunch of the Survivor alumni for the comment, she has barely done a Survivor interview since.

Very few players actually win based on their FTC performance, but "Why should we reward you for only playing 12 out of the 39 days?" should be a pretty solid case.
@TheMeanderingduck64 күн бұрын
@@johndebono1870 It should, but when the entire jury is also of the opinion that Chris played all 39 days because of the Edge twist, there's really nothing he could say to win.

EOE is a shit twist though. Gavin's completely right and Julia's comment about how the game evolves is wrong because evolution is a natural process, and I would consider adding EOE to be artificial.

Kinda insane how hard Amanda blew Cirie's vote in the end, as that was a deciding vote for her & Parvati (since it would have been a tie I'm guessing they still have 3rd place decide the winner in a F2). If she just simply told Cirie she took Parvati over her simply because she thinks Cirie would beat anyone in a Final 2 Cirie would probably vote for her.

Tbf, it should be noted that some of them had literally no chance of winning like Sherri, Katie or Stephen and they knew it so they said "fuck it, im not respected so ill do what i want". They should be a difference between those and the likes Amanda, Russell etc. If i knew i had 0 shot at winning id also be like Katie

Natalie was never winning anyway so I wouldn't put hers as bad as those who messed up who actualy had a shot at winning if they didn't bomb jury answers. That is what makes someone like Amanda the worst.

Man I hate the jury on Edge. Most bitter jury of all time. Really hope they don't bring anyone who vote for Chris back ever again. I lost all respect for Aubry and David. I was hoping as strategic players who made deep run would have more respect for what Gavin pulled off. Gavin didn't play a flashy game and that's why he made it. He SURVIVED. Automatically makes him more worthy of the title of sole survivor than Chris.

I don't agree with Colby that Russell was delusional for not thinking he got to the end by luck.
@tattoofixerstattoos8 күн бұрын
What he said was "you are delusional if you think you can get to the end of this game without any luck." So he wasn't just referring to Russell, but the idea anyone can play Survivor and get to FTC without some luck, and Russell was crazy to suggest otherwise. Which I agree with him on.
@AllRequired2 күн бұрын
"Sometimes I wonder if he's ever seen an episode before in his life." When an ex-finalist says something like that, that's not something anyone that understands Survivor will brush off.
