DMX lighting over Ethernet or Wi-Fi have never been simpler with the EntTec ODE. In this video we demonstrate how to set up your EntTec ODE 70305 using manual input configurations. This ODE device gives you the flexibility to work on remote DMX setups while giving you the freedom of space. Different 3rd party applications are available to interface your lights with your iphone and/or ipad.

If i use enttec as the dmx interface, will i still need madrix key/neo/plexus to run madrix? Or enttec will also act as a key?

What type of LED strip was used in this video ? Will the WS2812b work with the same setup? The ws2812b has 5 wires 1 x data in, 2 x +5v ,2 x GND

Hello Bernard, this is our direct DMX LED Tape the WS2812b would not work as they are a different protocol. You would need to convert them to DMX.

+Sławomir Kuliga Hello, and thank you for your comment. The way our Direct DMX LED Strip works is simply directly to your DMX interface. With that said, you won't need any sort of modules or anything of that sort. If you are talking about regular RGB LED Strips, then yes. You will need a DMX Controller in order to control your lights. +SIRS Electronics Inc Also, thank you for your reply. I was able to configure the Ethernet controller ENTTEC Opendmx. But I have a problem with the program MADRIX. In my program still says "No MADRIX key". And DMX output from time to time changes to 0 for a few seconds. Could this be due to the operating system Windows 10? Thank you for your reply and best regards.

+Sławomir Kuliga I am not sure what module you are speaking of. We have a Laptop running Madrix, the ENTTEC ODE, and a 5 meter LED strip.

Hello ladjkaoz, thank you for watching our video and for your question. With MADRIX you can select as many strips as you want in the Matrix Generator. If you have 30 strips, input that as your "X value."Then you will need to know the total number of pixels you have per strip for your "Y value."

No because our strip does not require a decoder. Our strip goes directly into the DMX interface.

Hello, you cannot run Madrix on Mac without using a different OS.

This is a DMX interface, not a decoder. This is the component that will send out the signal.

+SIRS Electronics Inc no, I'm talking about the decoder (the part between the ODE and the LED strip). The part that takes the DMX signal and makes it work with the strip

The strip used in this video is actually direct DMX so no decoders are required and you still have full pixel by pixel control.
