In this video, I showcase 5 different math proofs that end in mysterious ways. The list of proofs include 0=1, 1=-1, 2 ways of showing 1=0, and 2=1.
I ALSO show WHY each proof gives wrong answers. Try finding out the error first before seeing the solution!
These proofs are made "possible" by errors in algebraic methods, division, FOIL methods, imaginary numbers, square roots and squaring, and integration by parts.
0:02 A simple proof of 2=1
1:08 A similar algebraic error, proving 1=0
2:15 Imaginary numbers!
3:55 It's from MIT, so it's harder
7:05 A calculus proof???
