I play GT7 in VR and PSVR2 has a headphone jack. Would this theoretically work the same way as the controller headphone jack?

If I’m already using a analog to optical converter for an external speaker. Would it still work plugging into the controller with the music still coming out from my surround sound speaker and feel the rumble at the same time?

You are the first One I seen to use audio extractor. Is it possible todo this in line with eArc going to the sound bar from tv audio eArc out and keep 7.1.

Console games can only use the game's audio track to drive them. Telemetry-based haptics are only through software on PC

ok. I connected the buttkickers. But how about the proper combination of audio formats for each of the three devices involved to give the tactile feedback to the gaming chair, which are the tv's audio settings, the in-game audio settings, and last but not least, the console's audio formats (settings) ? For instance i loaded the WRC ea sports latest rally game. But the tactile feedback was merely a faded car engine noise, and some muffled rumbling from the road texture under my chair, barely felt under my butt having maxed the subwoofer amplifier's sub frequency knob out, and same to the amplifier's volume level, also. So, could somebody pls eventually make a video on how do we need to adjust the audio formats of each of these devices combined (stereo uncompressed? dolby digital? dts:x? windows sonic? dolby atmos? what type of audio format? ) so to get the buttkickers perform the proper immersive and strong rumbling effect we expect? thank you.

U might have to cut the music from the game, then the bass of the game comes through. I tend to use one in two out hdmi splitter is handy.

Just a quick question. I'm running the steelseries Arctic pro wireless on my ps5. Is it possible to have that set-up and to run a playstation chat party and having this to run simultaneously? With that said, the PS5 handles 120 Hz and HDR in 4k. PS. There's no optical out from the PS5

Nice video thanks! Having some issues connecting the butkicker to my PS5.. I am following the HDMI audio extractor method, but somehow i cant get any signal on my LG television, meaning the TV does recognise something in its port, but then after 10 seconds its saying no signal.. Cant seem to figure out the issue here, any suggestions?

@@Guitammer I emailed the support team almost a month ago and I still haven't received any feedback or response from them. I have a PS5 as well tried using everything in this video and nothing seems to work.

Great video, currently using a haptic vest with my current setup via ps5, connected the vest via audio jack to the ps5 controller then another audio jack from the vest to the pulse 3d headset. So I'm presuming all the buttkicker needs is audio output and should work in a similar fashion. All I know is you have to increase the volume to max setting on ps5 audio settings to get the best result.

Better take a y splitter. From mono to stereo. Sound will be mono. Only more amp power.

Heads up folks, the best buttkicker can offer you for ps5 support is all sound translating to rumble with cutoffs as the only method to weed out noise. This is next to useless if you want to just pull in gear shifts and curbs, for example. I've two I'm set to return because the experience on ps5 without software is quite literally like shoving a vibrating phone up my ass. Not immersive in the way I was after, to say the least.

I would prefer to have a buttkicker listen to the vibrations that come through the controller... But I'm guessing that'll be a lot harder to do

There’s a adapter piece where you can do that, how mine his now. Only thing different there won’t be sound coming out the TV or a soundbar if you have 1. You have to use headphones, Gaming headphones preferably

@@norrisyu530 I think the only way that works is if you get a Audio Extractor & Have 1 Male/Male AV Plug, He shows how to do that at the beginning of the video. Gotta buy things separately. Something I wish I could’ve known before buying the extractor without the plugs.

Bought them to try for ps5 and gt7 and the only way I could get any sort of decent experience was to run simhub. Problem is then getting simhub to talk to the amp, which if you can hardwire everything, does allow for sending just the effects you want to the buttkicker. That said, my ps5 is hardwired but the laptop is wifi and I cannot get them to recognize each other, eventeith port forwarding etc. I was able to get simhub to recognize the game when all was OK wifi, but then I experience latency in the effects by a noticeable amount. Imagine shifting the gears only to feel the effect close to a second later. I only recommend this if you have a pc for each rig you're running, and all are hardwired, no wifi, so that you can run simhub and select the effects you want. If you have a mixed connection scenario like I do where it's the ps5 wlan, but the pc and simhub wifi, good luck getting them to recognize one another. I had no luck, and would still be worried about latency even if I did. Bummer the console support is so patchwork.
