Don’t forget to allow “notifications” on the Bluetooth settings for the phone you just synced in order to receive emails and texts to the MMI

Are you using an Android or Iphone? I believe that Iphones dont let you message anymore while androids do.

Seems to be androids as no other brands have it yet. I believe BMW or Ford are rolling it out soon but I am not certain of that.
