You would think that they would mention the value of the resistor to use for a 9 volt operation. I know it's 680 Ohm s for 12 volts so i am thinking less resistance maybe 750 or 820 ? Thanks for sharing.

For those who is looking for the ohm from this useless video, you need > 350ohm not to burn it. here is the equation, Red LED takes 0.02A and 2V (check your LED spec) Your battery is 9V 9V-2V=7V 7/0.02= 350ohm resister you need. -- Now what kind of wattage resister should be? 0.02^2x350=0.14w resister wattage minimum. -- Extra info, how long the battery will last in perfect condition? If our 9v battery is 500mAh then 500/20mAh=25 hours

@@bhavishyanakul4209 anyone wanting to know exactly how much resistance is needed can look no further lol the answer is it depends on what led you have, if it runs off 3.7v and even that is pushing it a bit normally they only use about 3.2 max, but I know a lot of things like vape batteries use 3.7v so I mentioned it. Anywho all yous gotta do is take how much voltage you wanna remove and divide that by how much current you want the LEDs to have. So if you have a 9v battery, then you need to remove around 6v so divide 5.8v by 0.02A and you get 290 Ohms a 280 ohm resister would be fine as well but to check you can multiply your input voltage by your Current value so 9v multiplied by 0.02A = 0.18W thats watts, which means your .25W resistor will be just fine 🙂

@@rajakbabu8760 first know the voltage of battery and the led you want to use, then measure the consumption of ampere of led .and when you have three values use formula resistance=(battrry voltage - led voltage) divide it by current value. Yaha jo led use hui hai uska dekhte hain uska voltage hai kareeb 3volt or current consume krti hai 20miliamp or 0.02amp.or battery use krre hain 9volt. Formula lagao or resistance ki value aegi 300 ohm. U can use nearby resistance like 330ohm or whatever available in market closest to calculated resistance.
