Using the JBL app to connect them might not be the best way. So, in this video, I will show you a simple and easy way of connecting multiple JBL speakers.

Well done mate that's the first video that gets to one important point about jbl on the sly. I have a charge 4 and just bought a 5 to hook em up. Watched 5 other videos and you are the only one that hits the nail on the head so I don't waste my time. Legend

I have 4 JBL Flip 5's, but all are connecting to my Wi-Fi. When I hit the 8 the one that is playing would stop and another will start. Only one at a time, or the WiFi would not stop blinking on the others and eventually the light will go out.

Heck yeah hope it worked easy for you. They updated the app now you should be Easier to do it with the app now also. I think the button method is the fastest still though

Yeah sucks JBL switches the party mode all the time so you can’t connect old speaker but still is sick

No problem. Aye that’s a good pick up bud it’s not much of a difference between the X2 and X3. But now the X3 just got a EQ in the app finally but that’s about it

I have two JBL 2 Extreme speakers, I was really excited to pair them up in stereo mode with the app. I love my 1 JBL speaker, but pairing them up is buggy as hell if you want to play stereo and it has random pauses and pops which ruin my musical experience. Moving around with my phone seems to cause interference as well. You basically need your phone to be immobile and close to the speaker you paired to for stereo to be ok. The speaker seems to need to figure out how it works if you have a brief period where you're not playing any music. "Figuring itself out" means it stops and starts one speaker I guess to synchronize the sound coming from them. I honestly feel let down, I loved my single JBL, two is fine too; but they are both playing in mono and like you said, it works better without the app. It's fantastic as a single speaker, but if you were looking to get stable stereo output look elsewhere. Also, no equalizer in the "JBL Portable" app; at least not for JBL Extreme 2.

They will auto turn off after about 10 mins give or take. I don’t think there is a way to turn them off but I’m not 100% sure on that.

I have the charge 4 and it has the + on the side of the hour glass and if it has this you can pair up to 100 so it says?? i haven't tried it yet but just a heads up i could be wrong but will re comment if this is the case so jbl has said it can..this is also accordingly to bestbuy here in canada great vid thanks

Yeah I remember seeming a video when they had a whole bunch going at once I can’t remember might have been JBL’s video. One thing I don’t like back in the day every generation they make them not be able to link together. I hope from now on they do

How do you do to go away with the speaker without interrupting the signal? I have 2 charge 5 model NT and the signal is too choppy even when it is close

I haven’t that problem with chopping only time I do really have issues is with the app. But I know sometime some people will get chop because my Megabooms will still chop as well and I don’t know how to stop it

💥💥💥 Now JBL removed Partyboost, with the new Wi-fi speakers, but the other line Partybox has another connectivity called TWS. What a mess ! The old partyboost was better. 😮😮

What sucks about JBL they do not stay connected after you turn them off! Which for me really sucks! I have Sony XB33's and when I turn all 4 on they are always paired. Sony for the win!
