What voltage comes out of the stock esc to the light kit? I got an adjustable power step down board I put into the wire adapter I made. Thinking I'll just set it to 2s 7.4 volt power and keep my truck on 3s

On the 1080 I only ran this on the lower volt output as my servo was not at higher volt output. I did upgrade servo on higher volt output and seemed to be no issues that i had. Hope that helped answer your question

You think this would work with the 2021 bronco light kit? Assuming the voltages are the same coming out of that port as the stock traxxas esc nothing should go wrong

I would assume if traxxas didn't change anything with the bronco lighting system then it would be quite similar as this is just giving them the power source. Let me know if you try it if everything works out or any issuea.

were you using the standard traxxas remote and receiver? I tried this with the dumbo combo and i still cant get the lights to work

Hmmm I did have it stock when I made this video. I have since swapped out a different remote and reciever and didn't have any issues when I did that... sorry you're running into issues... I love lights way to much on my RC's

You figure the pro light kit controller (frame side) would be happy with this setup too? I only run 2s on my trx4

Not 100% last time at my local hobby shop it was their understanding the pro kit needs traxxas stock electronics to work so I just didn't move forward with the pro kit... I bet someone on here figured a way to get them to work

@@WNYRC i found an even simpler way to set this up, Y off your steering servo for turn signals, (maxx link cable) and (if running lipo) use an adapter from the jsc (power connector from the pro scale controller) to the lipos balance port for power. boom, bobs ur uncle this set up works perfectly.

How do you know which one is + or - coming out of the light module?

Sorry for the delayed response. So the traxxas adapters only connect one way so I assume your saying where it connects into the esc? For me there was no issue if I mistakenly put it on backwards...they just don't turn on but once I flip it correctly they work. All other connections should be only able to connect one way if all traxxas stock wiring.

I can't say exactly with those without knowledge of those ESC set ups. But I don't believe those systems have the 3 prong area to plug into like the quick run system does.. But I've never owned one yet to know that for a fact.

It uses the same 3 wire system but I was wondering the same thing as I just installed my fusion system today and was wondering about adding the Traxxas Pro Scale lighting kit with the functioning turn signals and reverse lights as I do not any lights yet for my Blazer.

@@pwrofgrayskull not yet. I have the kit from traxxas and the fusion in my blazer. I haven't started that project yet.
