I had the update to my touchscreen installed in my 2022- any idea if down the road Subaru will do an upgrade allowing wireless car play? (I know you don’t have a crystal ball.)

My 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness have an issue with my audio and speaker when I connect it through android auto, especially when I answer or make a call. There is a delay in the audio, and sometimes it is intermittently chopped. Also, the other line hardly hears me too. I tried doing it in an 2024 Outback but same issue persists.

I have a 2019 Outback, fully loaded. I have tried to find out why if I’m wearing my Apple Watch in the car, the music on stereo skips and jumps around. Subaru checked it out and called Apple, no one knows why. Do you? Can I fix it?

Help! I have a 2022 outback wilderness and I don’t see the “use CarPlay” window pop up after pairing my phone through Bluetooth. Can I update the infotainment system for this feature?

Be sure you select “CarPlay” in the settings. If you have trouble finding this. Disconnect your phone and reconnect. When you reconnect, it will ask if you want to enable CarPlay.

Mine typically fails in my 2023 when I absolutely need CarPlay to get to a new destination. It can't find it, reboot the iPhone, connect, not found, CarPlay not found, etc. Sometimes I have to rely on my backup the built in Tom Tom that comes with the XT model. It happens 2 or so times a week.

check if you have a vpn running on your phone. i had the same issue but once i shut off expressvpn i was good

How old is your phone? I had a similar issue with Android auto with constant issues and disconnects with my 5 year old phone even with up to date software. I recently replaced my phone with a new one and it works perfectly fine and can finally connect wirelessly.

You can also hold both buttons of the radio down at the same time till it reboots, its a software issue, not a phone issue

Unfortunately, the WRX doesn't support wireless CarPlay yet. Will probably come next in the 2024. You can still plug it up with your charging cable to use CarPlay though.
