Thank you so much. If you are Davinci Resolve user like me use this settings for render to get a .mov with Alpha channel. Format: Quicktime Codec: GoPro Cineform Type: RGB 16-bit Resolution: Check it because it automatically changes to 1080p Check Export Alpha

I drag and drop my MOV file onto the convert.bat of the converter, as it says in the README.txt, but nothing happens. No WEBM file is created.

I must be doing something wrong... I can't get it to work 😭The .webm output plays in StreamElements with a black background, I know the .mov has a transparent alpha channel (I tested it in DaVinci). Any suggestions?

When you render out your MOV, make sure to check off "RGB and Alpha" for the colorspace. If you dont have the alpha included, it will default to black

When rendering from After effects, did you enable it to render as an MOV with Alpha (Its a check box in the render menu and not on by default) H.264's and mp4s also don't allow alpha channels.

After converting to WebM colors slighly change. Can that be prevented somehow?

I'm not too sure, I'll try looking into it a bit more but the colors for me didn't seem to make a huge difference. What color space did you have your files in?
