Why back vertex distance is not effective if the spectacle power is less than 5 dioptre ? Why ocular refraction decreases if the spectacle refraction is negative? Why ocular refraction increases if the spectacle refraction is positive?

Sir please wat about 12mm as BVD , is one wrong using it, since BVD is constant? If u have a spherical value of less than or equal to + or - 2.00, must u do the math wen changing to contact lens? Sir please wen do u use 12mm and 14mm since BVD is constant? Thank u.

so it's minus 50. if i have spectacle of -4.50. i will get -4.00 contact lense.

yes but also it can be different per patient. a CL is way smaller than a regular opth lens so it takes way less time for the light to hit your eye one two there is inherenty less distortion with contact lenses which is why those who need lenticular or myo go for a hard contact. You get the peripheral vision but its less power sometimes the same exact power as a spectacle RX.

how this is possible when my doctor said +1 contact lense equal +0.75 glasses? when i do the math i get 0.758 in the end something is wrong

Contact lenses me muje left eye se sab dikhta h ekdm clear...but jab nikalke chasma pehnata hu to Usme blur vision aa rha h....thoda bahot...aisa kyu ??? shayad half number ka differ ho skta h lekin....kafi had tk chasme se blur dikh rha

nah because power of a lens is different when you change the distance from the eye and how small a CL is compared to a full size opth lens. Some people have the exact same CL rx as Spec RX. It can be a guessing game
