My sister has been asking a for a Guinea pig for a while since early February.. She even wished for one on her brithday.. My parents been thinking it's june now and their getting me and my 4 siblings two Guinea pigs! Thanks to this video.. All my research and effort did the job.. Because I knew how bad my sister wanted one.

I've had a pet lizard for a while that was really small and recently passed but my mom HATES all reptiles in general except for her because she was forced to pick her up on time and she realized she was sweet. I asked her for a fire skink and now she's trying get me to have a chinchilla Instead, after a bit of research I realized they might not be the best for me so instead ima ask for a guini pig. Im pretty sure she'll say yes because wish me luck

I have piggies and it only took me a week of convincing! That was surprisingly easy, all I said was "Dad, Mom, I had a dream last night where everyone had pets except me" and my dad just told me "let's get a guinea pig or a rabbit" so I picked guinea pig. 😂😅

what i did was wrote all my reserch on a paper and set it on my desk in my room so they would see it but i would act like i didnt mean to leave it there so if they see it they will see hoe much you looked up and how hard you worked to reserch it

My mom said maybe for Christmas but my dad said I won’t want to take care of it in the summer and I won’t be home on the weekends (the guinea pigs would be at my moms not my dads because they are divorced) my mom said she would take care of them on the weekend. So... the first time I asked she said... “tHeY aRe PiGs!?! nO wAy!” Then... I prayed every night that there would be a sign... Then a friend said his sister had got one and had it for about a month... and Didn’t want it... because they just didn’t have time... so I told my mom! And she said no... and is gently and kindly asked why? And she said Because she was scared I would love it so so much and if anything happened to it... she would not want to se me sad... so I said that I would take as much care of it as possible! And I reminded her that I have had hamsters before and they only died of old age... (I told her just to show the responsibility) And I told her that I would do extra chores! Fast forward a few days and... she didn’t say yes... But... she DIDNT SAY NO!! She said it’s fine with me I just need to talk to your dad about it. And I got a little bit worried because I knew my dad wasn’t fond of them... so I blurted out... “ wHaT dO yOu NeEd To AsK HiM aBouT?! i HaVe aLL tHe aNsWeRs YoU nEeD!?” And she said.... Here’s how I got my guinea pigs because I really didn’t ever have the idea to want to get them lol... ok so two years ago a family who had two female and one male guinea pig wanted to get another male piggy because one recently passed. They got their piggy at a pet store and surprise surprise they ended up getting its gender wrongly and it ended up being a female, the female guinea pig ended up becoming pregnant with I believe four piggies. Instead of selling them when they became old enough to live without their mom they decided to instead just post them on our neighborhood Facebook page and saying that they were going to give them away for free. My mom actually really wanted to get a class pet for her classroom because she’s a seventh grade science teacher and she would love to have some! She came to me with the idea because at the time I was at the same middle school as my mom is working at so I would often be in her classroom in the mornings and in the afternoons. I loved the idea and my mom told me to do research on guinea pigs. we ended up finding a small pet store cage that was secondhand and we got it for like 20 bucks but then I did research and found out that pet store cages are terrible for guinea pigs. I also told my mom that they often cannot be left alone by themselves for more than 24 hours meaning that leaving them in the classroom over the weekend was out of the question. My mom starts second-guessing getting guinea pigs because of the size issue with their cage. But it was too late and we had already gotten them. My mom always hinted at the idea that they Will just stay with me but never really told me. My mom eventually just said that they’re not gonna go with her to school and that they will just stay at home in order to make our lives easier and Not worry about them on the weekends. now those piggies are my pets since I care for them, but my family love to watch them and feed them food. Since the whole plan was I was going to be the one to clean their cage and take care of them while my mom worked I ended up being their owner. Now I have two lovely piggies in a awesome 4/2 c&c cage in my room and I couldn’t be happier!
