I loved that you recognised how simple the 'boil up' was and how you were able to 'taste' each item as individual flavours. Also, just so you know - the vinegar and chips (and fish) is more an Australian thing - as NZder's are more of a 'Watties Tomato Sauce' nation - had with most everything, but your batter did look amazingly crispy (despite the greasiness - which most NZders like anyway). Good on you mate - you did well. :-)
