Cooking an egg on fire can be done in several ways. If you have a pan or a pot or other kind of fire resistant vessel, then it is really easy. Use them like you do at home. The question is, how to cook an egg without a pan or pot? Well, there are several ways to make campfire eggs.
You can cook your eggs in hot ash of a burned down fire. Or on the hot bed of coals. Or in the moss. Or in a paper cup. Or use hollowed out vegetables. Like onions, bell peppers and potatoes. You can even cook eggs in a paper bag.
Cooking eggs in a paper bag is quite simple, if you know what you are doing. First of all, gather the ingredients - couple of eggs (depending on the size of the bag), some ham and a paper bag. Because you can not cook eggs in a paper bag without a paper bag.
Slice the ham and rub some of the fat inside the bag, so all sides and the bottom become greasy. Lay the sliced ham inside the bag ang crack the eggs on top of them. Hang the bag over a fire, near the heat but away from the flames. Wait until the eggs are done.
