Nice..but that mackerel is a no no for calabar white soup..moreover u didn't add uyayak spice.

Does the type of yam count? Can we just buy any yam and use? How do we blend? With mortar or blender if there's no electric blender.

We don't normally add mackerel fish to this type of white soup, dry catfish would have been better. The mackerel fish will spoil the taste of that particular white soup. You cook fresh cat fish white soup but not mixed with chicken.
