Welcome to Arnie's Cafe and Grill!
Steak ranchero is basically any cut of beef cut up into strips or cubed and smothered in a fresh, hot sautéd salsa.
For this recipe I’m searing a sirloin steak on my MadeIn 12” Carbon Steel Frying Pan, then cutting it into slices and adding it into the hot salsa which has garlic, onions, tomatoes and jalapeños.
This is a great, quick and easy to make meal that combines two of my favorite things - steak and salsa, and it’s an awesome way to bring a cool variation to your own at-home menu.
So let’s get fired up and cook up a delicious steak ranchero at Arnie’s Cafe & Grill! Vamonos!

Arnie, I made this tonight exactly how you instructed. The only change was OG instead of WOW. Phenomenal!!!! We ran out of tortillas and my wife just grabbed a fork and went right to the pan lol. She is not always a steak person but she loved this and asked me to keep the recipe. Thank you!

If you find that you have no tortillas which I have done. You can make Indian fry bread. It's really easy and it goes great with this.

I made that last night grill steak ranchero tacos.. I used fajita. I used Tomato sauce instead of fresh crushed tomatoes, and I use your OG seasonings. it’s awesome. Haven’t got to try the wow yet I am waiting for it to come in

This is one of the regular dishes I order in restaurants. I’ll be making that soon. The only thing I will do different is stainless steel as the tomatoes/sauce can mess with the seasoning on carbon steel, and I’ll start with the steak, then use the onions and other ingredients to deglaze the pan.
