@@SnowboardAddiction Pretty sad :( At least you can take other riders examples because as I see most confrontation corks and rodeos has - is theoretical description. It differer in almost every source you can find. Even SA Trampoline Series got some incorrect explanations as I think. And I dont understand why there is no some detailed video about those. Because I go to tramp hall and if I take SA Tramp Series FS Rodeo definition I made it, but it looks exactly like BS cork 5, just spinning FS and board kind of side of your whole body, not under you. But why so? I would call it FS Cork 5. Because corks are off axes rotation, not necessary with any kind of flippy motion. As for rodeos I see 2 kinds of explanation - "old school var" - backflip+bs = bs rodeo, frontflip+fs=fs rodeo and "new school var" - when it looks more like a spin. Most clear description I find recently: Rodeo = your body flying first off kicker, Cork = your board flying first off kicker. But still not clear with flips and so on. Even official documentation to judge competitions doesnt have clear description what should be count as cork and what as rodeo.

Awesome question! He could do that for 1 reason, spot. He manages to put his body in the perfect postion to spot right away what is all you need for a trick like a backside 540. But it is a style thing that comes from experience, if he did a proper back 5 or a proper 7 you would see it more like Taevis shows. You can cheat the take-off on back 5s, but it won't work on bigger spins, that's why we recommend learning in a way that works for all spins so you don't form bad habits. But once you make it pro you can do whatever you want!

For sure! Jumps add extra cork to spins since you are matching the angle of the take-off. The big difference you can see on Tramp is the spot. For Back rodeos, you want to throw up and over your shoulder like a backflip, where when taevis corks his spot is always under his back arm. It's this spot and the difference in the start of the trick you are looking for. You can make corks more corked, but shouldn't ever be pulling your head back. You would see the front shoulder being more noticeable thrown towards the tail on like a dub back 10, but for back 5s that much throw is overkill and will throw you off:)
