Hi Loc'd Friends,
I recently found out how to correct problems with my locs so naturally I want to pass on the information because a lot of us have DIY'd our locs. I am using a crochet needle to fix locs that are fatter than the others (even out the diameter). You can also use this tool to fix gaps, bunching, and thinning locs. Also, I am approaching my 18 month mark with my locs and am going live. Make sure you are subscribed with your notifications turned on so you can join in on the live chat because it will be coming up soon.

My Shirt: I made my shirt. If you would like one, email me at (tanish.kohn@gmail.com)so I can send you a PayPal invoice. They are $31.99 with free US shipping to 48 lower states (Hawaii, Alaska, and US islands not included). I am also making a batch of shirts that will include LOC'D with Ankara fabric with the definition as well for $34.99. All shirts are handmade to order after payment is received and let me know if you want the shirt a different color other than black. The shirts will eventually be on my website and ETSY but that's a little further down the line.
I am making changes in my content and to my channel overall. I am now including crafting videos that focus on sewing, and embroidery in addition to my loc content. Hopefully you guys will still support me and check out some of those videos as well. If you are new here, and only here for my Locs, below are a few of my more popular loc videos. I have the wooden ones. In 0.5 & 0.75. What you is called Bunching! I was told was you can hold the loc and gently pull it downward to smooth it out. Then use the needle to fix it!

Glad I found this video again! I’m about 18 months locked now & I know I’d love my hair more if there wasn’t as much bunching. The locs without bunching are pretty long and pretty. And then the random bunch ones make it harder to braid down and all. So I’ll be going in and repairing locs over time.

I feel like bunching is hollowness in the loc. When you touch it theres no type of formation or ball like feel. Budding is soft yet firm & you can feel the oval or ball like shape/form. Idk if that makes sense.
@mstanish1
@mstanish1 3 жыл бұрын
it doesn't lol. but I get it... kinda. because some of my locs are hollow. other locs are pretty solid.

I use the crochet tool too! And not the cheap wooden ones I found the quality terrible, they could end up damaging your locs sent mines back is it was sharp could’ve cut the hairs if not careful. I use the Pony or Tulip brand think they Japanese made. Great tool but be aware of quality not all are suitable. Your hair is lovely btw 😊🇬🇧

yes agreed, all about quality. My wooden one isn't sharp, it just snags hair.
