We used to have flag raising ceremonies every friday when i was in primary school. It was wrapped up in a neat bundle, raised up to the top end and released up top. Our flag had the union jack on the top left corner of the flag since we used to be a colony of GB. Can someone send me link as to how this is done please?

After the flag is properly folded, the lower rope id's wrapped around the bundle and a loop of it is tucked under itself. When you pull the rupee from the bottom of the flag pole, the slip knot releases and it unfurls.

I have a similiar flagpole with the same counterweight but the flag still wraps around the pole all the time , really frustrating :(
