RS-EX-8 CM Defender Only, No 6 Stars
Harold hits for 4620 Physical Damage in EX-8 CM Phase 2. This oneshots 4* Defenders offskill and the 5* ones still take massive damage, except Cement's massive HP Pool and physical damage reduction allow her to easily survive and get healed back up. Furthermore, Cement S1 doesn't care about aspd or freeze, allowing her to effectively DPS the enemies in phase 1. I wasn't expecting this to be particularly interesting but not being able to easily claim heaters in CM and the tanking setups + icicle solution was fun. Vulcan's module was also surprisingly useful.
If I didn't turn on most of the heaters Harold's icicle attack would kill all my units. By moving him around for phase 2 I can quickly trigger all the heaters in rapid succession. The double icicles + auto attack kills Cement, but I can use Vulcan + Cuora's skills to endure the 65s redeploy time.
Asbestos seems removable but every run takes 30 minutes to reach the part where I use her so I was too lazy to test it out. 3 Healing Defenders are only used because Harold has a good chance of oneshoting half HP Cement and non-Gummy healing defenders don't top up the target nicely.

Forgot to mention but as long as it's Phase 1 Harold I can freely move things around when the Blizzard ends at 999s just by using blockers like Cuora and Cement and swapping Cement/Medics as needed That lets me reposition better

In CM they cost too much DP and other resources for me to keep effectively Icicle rain was cool specifically because I had to quickly ignite all 5 heaters on demand since it's too strong otherwise

When the attack description says ATK A and "ranged arts" I assumed the melee attack was also arts, my Nightingale was useless then and my strategy flawed. Still got medal trimmed and CM done.

man this stage really showed how annoying the event mechanic is let me make it realistically impossible to use the majority of the tiles on the map, and then have the boss deal global AOE damage that just so happens to make the few usable (heater) tiles you have also unusable (and also kills everyone if you kill the boss too fast) HG bro wtf

IKR, this is basically Heater and Damage management. The thing that frustrated me the most is the enemies that put out the heaters out when they die.

@@krenstx2502 For me, the worst part was the delay after heaters were turned off. Playing around that stuff while also having to control dps on boss so he doesnt wipe your squad by poor timing on his skill was really frustrating.
