I play a lot of chomper and I’ll admit, grolly goop in this game is stupid. So stupid that it spreads the stupidity to other players and adds even more layers of stupid (which i surprisingly did not know about).

I also remember when grodie goop was so bad lol, it did maybe 15 damage for the whole thing. The base cloud damage was 2 and the damage overtime was 1 over 13secs.

3:01 the upgrade that scientist have that can let him self heal when healing other zombies is essential for avoiding grody goop as when you're healing your allies, and a chomper shoots grody goop at you, it won't take effect since you can basically stay in grody goop without worrying, it also negates two other effects like Rose's jinx ability and Snapdragon's fire effect

Lets all agree imp is the perfect counter for bfn chomper, especially if soaked with grody goop

Don't forget about hot rod it can make you go faster after chomping a zombie.

now i know how to counter grand master 5 chompers that burrow, miss, runaway, and try again infinately until they kill you. then they taunt, and spam whatever toxic message they like

Spell disaster is probably the best burrow cancel ability. If you use it just before the chomper grabs you it can fully kill them

Just remember with that burrow cancel list, it is absolutely ridiculous how many things cancel burrow I’m gonna try to list them all of the top of my head Soldier: liftoff, zpg, stick cloud, none of these escape but all can kill Sb: super ultra ball, jump thump (don’t attempt to use) can kill the chomper, turbo twister with uppercut will completely unroot the chomper Slide: I think outa fight can do it but idk, disco tornado can kill but not escape 80’s all abilities and even the primary weapon on full charge can burrow cancel a chomper, I’m not sure if either of the movement abilities can escape but they can all kill Imp: mech is the only option, escapes burrow and on very rare occasions crashes the chomper’s game All star: sprint tackle can depending on timing either kill the chomper with the damage hitbox or escape during the chomp animation, imp punt can kill during the chomp animation Deadbeard: if the chomper is really stupid you can escape or kill the chomper with barrel, if the chomper is really low you can pull out the parrot and kill them mid-swallow, you can anchor away out of the chomper’s mouth or even kill the chomper mid-swallow with the anchor (this is the funniest way to kill a chomper in the game) Cadet: if for whatever reason you get stuck on the ground during gravity smash and a chomper burrows the smash will kill the chomper, I’ve never tried this but I’m pretty sure the laser can kill the chomper mid burrow, your last option and your best option (as why tf aren’t you in station anyways?) is transforming into station which will completely stop the swallow animation Wizard: co star can escape burrow, spell disaster can kill the chomper during burrow (and with precise timing at any health), zee-lixer can make yourself or your teammate completely unswallowable and cancel the burrow animation (basically trying to burrow a wizard or someone being pocketed by one is the single dumbest thing you can do in bfn) oh and lol, this is really hard to do but you can also kill them with the charged shot Engineer, turret, uproot with grenade, rebound projectiles to kill mid-swallow or simply sprint (chomper cannot burrow a sprinting engineer) Scientist: you only have one option and it’s extremely precise in timing, warp, do not count on being able to do this cancel due to lag causing the timing to be quite random and precise Finally tv head: yeti imp can either be used to kill the chomper mod swallow or cause the chomper to accidentally swallow the imp (this used to cause an invisibility glitch for tv head but they patched it lol) overheated dinner also does 100% splash damage so it’s very viable as an option to cancel burrow So basically as you have just read, every single zombie has a way to burrow cancel, most actually have many ways to do so. Also p.s bfn devs are bad at coding and made spike weed always heal the chomper even when they aren’t using vamp weed, what this means is that you must not shoot a spike weed unless you know the chomper is already dead and cannot receive the hp

I would decrease Grody Goop’s Aura damage from 40-20 to give imps 10% survivability.

Ngl i just give chomper this one.. bfn is the only game were he truly shines since he was pretty meh across gw.. but just wished he was abit more balanced

When will you make how to counter bfn peashooter?

I literally just play space cadet and anytime i hear or see a Chomper go for me i use the slam ability. If i see them trying to run then i just land on some high ground like a fence to prevent them from getting me.

The wizard Potion can also cancel a chomper borrow by throwing it at himself (or a teammate but I haven’t test that out so idk if it works) when a chomper is about to eat him

You forgot that Super Brainz Typhoon ability takes him out of burrow. Not sure if intentional but there's that
