For Plague it's so annoying the amount of times people cleanse. I had a game where EVERYONE kept cleansing and they ended getting downed and there we're only 4 gens. I always get annoyed and start saying "Stop cleansing people!" it's honestly annoying and makes me question the people I play with constantly.

In higher ranks with faster games, cleansing is faster healing and when the plague has to go to another side of the map to get her power rather than gaurding her gens being sick is a fast heal

Ok so as a Twins main here, Charlotte can call back victor after 30 seconds, after that 30 secs though, victor is revealed to her, meaning you’ve basically got Object on you 24/7 no matter what you do, it’s good when you’re in a group, but if you’re one of two survivors left, get him off immediately, strafing also works against lower level twins, I’ve got the hang of it by now and can hit most of my pounces on a bad day

Legion: don't heal *proceeds to get downed because of his power

Trickster: run towards him,he is so useless that he literally can't kill you

How to counter the Trickster: Run towards him and allow him to mori because it’s hot af

Real counter to Hag: You can tell if your near a trap if you see it’s particle effect as it emits a ring with ashes going up. A way to keep a lookout is by being mindful on possible trap locations and taking slower steps in said locations.

Little addition to every killer Trapper: Try not to let the trapper bait you into his perimeter of traps Wraith: You can use spine chill Nurse: Try to get her to loose line of sight as this makes it more difficult for her since she needs to predict where you‘re going (this can easily fail though) Billy: You can also use lockers or pallets to try and avoid his chainsaw. Don‘t run in a straight line. Myers: Again, use spine chill to know when he‘s coming Hag: Same as trapper. If you do trigger a trap, try to run to a pallet or far away as fast as you can. Flashlights can destroy the traps. Doctor: Don‘t forget that you can‘t do any actions for a while when you get shocked. Spirit: You can use a flashlight to determine whether she‘s phasing or not. If you start blinding her then she‘s not phasing and if you don‘t then she is. Huntress: Try to loop her at places where it‘s difficult to use her hatchets. You can crouch to make it harder for her to hit you. Try to count how many hatchets she has as this will let you know if she has any addons that change the base number. Bubba: Don‘t run in a straight line. Freddy: See if a clone of his body appears when he teleports, if it does then run away, if it doesn’t and the gen is almost finished then try to finish it. Don‘t loop him when you‘re asleep. Pig: Remember that her dash can be very terrifying. You can also use spine chill to know when she‘s coming. Try not to finish gens if someone has a trap, instead 99% them and then wait. (This can backfire, so use with caution) Clown: Try to make it more difficult for him to use his bottles. Legion: If they vault, you can try to run into them to make it a little harder to hit you (this won‘t work against an experienced killer). Try to stay together (do gens on your own) Plague: Cleanse far away from the team. Don‘t enter a chase when you‘re broken. Ghost Face: Try to loop at places where you can see him as this makes it harder for him to mindgame. Demi: Watch out for fake lunges, get close to the highground as it makes it harder for him to lunge without flying far away. (Won‘t work against experienced Killers) Oni: Try to prolong the first hit as much as possible. Also try not to stay in groups (because of infectious fright which most oni players will likely use) Deathslinger: Don‘t be in the open. Try to loop at places where it‘s harder to hit shots. If you‘re shot, try to make him swing early or break the chain. Pyramid Head: Try to anticipate the killer anticipating you. Blight: Try to loop in a way that makes it harder for him to use his power effectively (this can be very difficult) Twins: Watch our for the sound queue that you get whenever they switch between Victor and Charlotte. Don‘t go in lockers when Victor is chasing you. Trickster: Try to loop him at places where it‘s hard for him to use his knifes. Once hit, try to gain more distance and weave left & right to avoid knifes. Remember that it takes at least 6-8 knifes until you‘re injured/downed and that it takes more if you don‘t get hit by knifes for a while. Try not to stay near him as he can switch rather quickly and hit you.

Quick tip from a twins main: Victor got buffed a few weeks after release. Charlotte can call him back after 30 second if you don't take him off and he can also trap you in lockers. Take him off as soon as you can but not in a chase because The throwdown animation stops your movement. My tip is to stay as close to Victor as possible but try to stay behind him. He WILL miss his pounce and you can get the kick.

The trickster : Just bow to the king

Also doc: Drop pallets early to avoid getting shocked.

When a nurse blinks at you, you don’t run into her, cuz if you get a good nurse it fill be able to see it coming and blink just a bit forward even if she was holding her blink for 10 seconds. Instead you keep the max distance from the nurse and when you are running, try to run behind walls or large objects so she cant see you. I was able to run around a nurse that had 8000 hours in dbd for 1 minute with this tactic. If i did it for one minute, then you could do it for 5 gens in public

Real Nurse Counter: - lose her line of Sight (run behind objects) - try to gain distance as much as possible (don't stay at tiles) - run unpredictable - use hights like stairs Running always to her when she blinks get's you killed, cause she will now that you do that after you done it ones or twice.

as a (mid ranking) legion main I'll tell you one thing that annoys me: not healing helps me more often than not, what you want to do to REALLY annoy legion players (at least in my experience) is to stay as separated from your team as much as possible. legion is all about chaining attacks, if they have no one to chain their ability becomes pretty much useless and you can easily overwhelm them by staying separated on different gens.

Twins: She can recall Victor that has been patched a when she hit live servers 💖

Nurse: Good Nurses know they can aim down to Blink closer, and this means they can aim almost directly down to not Blink forward at all, making the "run towards her" method not work, so try to use it sparingly. Instead, try and find crowded areas like jungle gyms and *move unpredictably* instead of normal looping. This also counters the addon that lets her return to where she was when she blinks. Of course if you're on Midwich or near the basement then running towards her counters her aiming down method because she'll just blink downstairs. Hag: Traps can be destroyed using flashlights. Doctor: Your clown tip should be here as well actually, as the doctor's zaps prevent you from vaulting and dropping pallets while you're in the screaming animation, so you need to do it prior instead or just ignore it entirely since he moves slower while doing the zap. Freddy: You can wake up by failing a generator skill check unless he has an addon. If you know someone else is being chased, you can fail one without worry unless he's dumb enough to try and break chase to go after you. Spirit: To be clear, crouching makes you quieter, and it's possible to fool the spirit by running for a bit to show scratch marks, then crouch walking back along your path. This makes her still hear you if you're injured but since you're quieter, you sound further away. Also, huge tip, *avoid grass* because she can see the moving grass. Plague: Correction, cleanse only when necessary. It does heal you if you were fully sick, but if you're not red then don't bother. If you never cleanse you just give her easy downs with M1 since she can effectively here wherever you're running in a loop since you're constantly vomiting and coughing. Remember it's only a 1 shot throw up if you're already injured. A better tip is similar to Myers, avoid LOS, the throw up is a bitch to hit with because of how it's coded as many tiny particles. Demo: Also, pay attention for his leap and swerve out of the way. Rest are spot on.

The counters against Legion and Bubba are actually nice, for players who didnt knew them.

For the twins keeping victor on you won't counter them because when I was playing twins I had victor on a survivor and after a while of him being on them I noticed it said recall victor.

The one on the nurse is a mindgame on who can read who, nurse can read you running toward her and blink there or smth. It depends on the players

Nurse side note: Dont run at her if shes good, she'll rock ur shit. Instead try and break LOS and try and mind game her around cluttered areas instead

These aren't the best tips ngl, for Legion you shouldn't heal yes, but that still isn't the best advice bc you should still heal for example before the last gen pops or when someone is hooked for the save.

As a Wraith main, (since I see alot of newer players talking about how "op" he is) another thing I can add is his breathing is VERY loud and noticable. And you will usually hear it in time to run to a close by pallet if there is one near you.

As a twins main, after 45 seconds of Victor being kidnapped you can recall him. At that point, you’ve probably already revealed your teammates, maybe crushed him, become oblivious, and probably been downed. Also not to mention the add ons for Victor you can get as well Edit: often times I don’t rely on Victor to kill. I use him as a scouting tool and an exposure tool

Spirit Tip: “Stay as quiet as possible” Spirit with Stridor: “Yeah, good luck”

I love that the counters for legion and PH dont affect my gameplay at all because I know that’s exactly what survivors want to do. Make a build on legion solely for injured survivors and for PH at the beginning of any loop drag a trench through the pallet. They’ll either 1: get tormented (which is exactly what you want for ez tunnels) or 2: avoid it like the plague and give you an ez smack.

An additional tip for deathslinger When looping around windows you have enough time to crouch (if you're on the opposite side) it's not always perfect but he actually has a high chance to miss if you do it in time

I Play Pyramid head and another good tip is to bait his ranged attack while his sword is in the ground since it has a long cool down then dodge him and run as far as possible

Huntress: don’t zig zag is makes it easier for the huntress to throw an axe where you’re running, yank yourself at the last minute to avoid it, unpredictability Nurse: depending on if the nurse is consistent or not, be unpredictable with movement and make the nurse blink somewhere where she wont have further line of sight of you

I thought you WERE supposed to be in open areas with blight because he can’t really hit a object then go for you 100% immediately, and would be easier to dodge But I guess is because I think of “cluttered areas” like corridors that would be easy hits for blights

With demogorgon its better to choose what portals are dangerous, since you need time to cleanse them, but he can just reset them in few seconds. Keep in mind that if 2 portals are next to each other, dont cleanse them. He has limited amount of them, but every time one is cleansed, he gets it back.

About the demogorgon... removing a portal takes quite a lot of time, maybe you dont want to waste your time to remove a portal that makes a sound when its being used so that you can react to it

As a Demogorgon main I would suggest zigzag running and avoiding open areas as well otherwise you're wide open for being hit by Shred

(Twins main Intuition) A Better twins counter is to stay grouped up and heal so if victor downs one of your teammates you can kick him and immediately and pick them up. Holding hostage renders you completely useless and Charlotte can call him back anyways so it’s not really ever worth it unless you REALLY need to get a gen done and deny a snowball or something, you only benefit the killer 80% of the time you do that.
