Cold Blooded is actually very good vs the seeker drone, it doesn't offer complete immunity but it does vastly reduce the radius from which it will detect you. Without a perk it can detect you from anywhere on the map iirc. With CB though it really needs to be within about 5 meters or it can't see you. In your examples you were just a bit too close to see it but it is very effective. Also, a team mate shooting it really helps if you do get tagged with it and miss the skill check, help your team mates out guys! Same story with the dog really, if you're running CB it will come for you eventually but it almost always gets distracted by a team mate who isn't running CB. So technically it's not a hard counter, but in reality it is.

For Ajax’s shield you can use batteries cluster and kill him if you stick it to his shield

How to counter tempest? You run away and hide. That's...sigh...wow.

So ive been reading the comments and im left with one odd question. Does engineer work on the strike team so i can see them and counter them with the tomahawk? Thinking about making a specific class for the dog and strike team

For Nomad's K9 Unit, I have found High Caliber to work best against Juneau. It makes sense since she isn't a normal piece of equipment so FMJ 1/2 doesn't help but increase damage on the gun, and that she has hitboxes that can mimic similarly to the ones found on players.

They should make it like black ops 3 where u can only choose either your equipment or ability, then you won't get spammed by both during a match

Cold blooded decreases range that the seeker can soft detect you so it beeps and locks on to you when it’s much closer and go for your teammates more thN you

Does cold blooded let you counter sensor dart? The description led me to believe so :/. Another tip, it typically takes a few min (depending on game mode) before anyone gets their specialist abilities. So at the start of the game I always check the enemy team's specialists by looking at the scoreboard and switch to my resistive classes when I think they might have their abilities available.

Nomads mine makes a distinct noise, so if you walk into a doorway and hear almost like a buzzing noise just don't go in there 😭

Why tac mask doesn’t fully take away the effects of the flash (or at least means u can’t still aim even if ur screen goes white for 1/2 a sec) I’ll never know

One time I was behind a tempest and they shot someone infront of them but the lightning still arced to me when i was behind the tempest

I don't know if this is confirmed to work, but when I was using Zero's Ice Pick, Jenaeu couldn't kill me. She ran straight up to me and did her attacking animation, but I didn't die from it. 🤔

Any explosive also works against Ajax's shield. Direct impact with a launcher will kill him.

You can walk next to the sensor dart and tax deploy and hold square to destroy it

i like to go prone if i can when a seeker drone is coming so it is an easy hipfire kill

The strobe light on the shotgun also works well against the dog 👍

I found a glitch to counter nomads dog, Basically what you have to do is melee the dog - or the air - a split second before the dog attacks you (best if the dog is in the air jumping towards you) and he will go straight through you and land on the floor and become glitched being unable to move, so you can get really easy shots on the dog as it is stuck/glitched on the floor

if you have a knife operator mod it takes 2 hits to brake torque barbed wire and shield

Did u know if u have the skull splitter (Operator mod) on the Mozu you can one shot Junea (nomads dog) only if u shoot it in the head also if u ht junea with a tomohawk it dies straight away

Thank you. I think specialists have a place in the game but man they can be so annoying!. Also the light on the sg12 can stun the dog for about 3 seconds or so.

Also it seems when you jump, nomads dog can't get you at the peek of your jump, so if you time it right(which I know is not likely) he will be put of or miss his first bite

Tac mask counters the seeker drone but only when your not directly infront of it

If you direct hit a helium salvo to a Ajax shield it will kill him if low enough

don't worry about having to equip certain perks or wasting your ultimate ability just to counter specialists and just play and you will get the hang of it, whether it is retreating to a strategic position to just shooting the dog like the people that shoot seeker drones and uavs

What really grinds my gears is the fact that lethal specialist abilities charge up faster than the nonlethal ones... I go from using Crash abilities maybe 1 or 2 times in a dom match and I see the enemy use the fucking Battery 3 times a match

Another semi-counter for zero is when your HUD is scrambled, it still shows real red dots for enemies, and those are a darker red than the decoys

Idk if anyone knows this but if the dog is running right at you you can move to the side and it will bite the air instead of you making it pause so you can shoot it

The engineer perk also let's you see the dog threw walls! Just like mesh mines and pretty muh every specialist ability.

If you want to kill strike team quickly use snipers nest I just used one rn and it one hit all the strike team soldiers

Only other thing I can think of is that when Firebreak uses Reactor Core even though he gets loads of extra health against bullets it still only takes 1 or 2 melee hits to bring him down if you are close and quick enough.

It is apparent they had to nerf the hell out of the specialist since release. Especially nomad, Ajax, and zero. Zero got nerfed so hard she's borderline useless. Everytime I try to use her to stop the thresher, attack chopper, snipers nest etc., The other team seemingly teleports to my location in my spawn and kills me. Nomads dog is derpy as hell and dies easily.

Not joking. What you said about the dogs. That’s what I always do. But it does not matter how high up I am they always manage to jump up and kill me.
