To add to this if you block Sentai a crouch jab beats all her options as well BUT will trade with Sentai 2 or get eaten by sentai 1, the reason is to hit her sentai 4 on block with crouch jab you have to slightly delay the crouch jab to float it. Just an extra tidbit. Crouch jab covers sentai 3 and 3+4 if you don't want to guess between those by stand jabbing

That was really helpful, the only thing I could think of that is missing here is how to approach the mixup after blocking her normal heat smash, since it leaves her in heavens wrath at plus frames I guess you have to hold that too?

Great guide but for the heat section there's 1 big counter play if you react to it. At on block Reinas df 4,2 into heavens wrath you can throw her and she's unable to tech it. And u got enough time to visually confirm heavens wrath and throw her so even if she chooses to finish the string you can block it and she looses her turn. And at reinas while rising 4,4 into heavens wrath she can tech the throw if she's ready but no other option for her against it so choose a throw which gets you in a favorable position (get out of corner, floor break etc)

What I really hate about her is she has A LOT of identical animations with different properties, like safe at -9 here 16:01, but launch punishable at -16 here at 13:35, then also -14 when she does 2,2,2,1 smh. It's very confusing for you the opponent

df4,2 string instead of goin in to wrath reina can do df4,2,3 that last hit is a (high)CH launcher, so if you never respect this string outside of heat and try to jab spam her out of it she can start doin this instead, so u need to jab her on reaction

112 into the stance i usually low parry or try to react to the leg mid, untill they start doing fast mids, if she goes low i parry it, if she does the high kick i duck it and launch punish and if she does the mid leg thing i release downforward to guard it like that, her other options are faster but only the fast mids

If you can do backdash cancel you can avoid her options from heaven’s wrath after cd42~d with it

About the df4, 2 Heavens wrath transition: you forgot to mention that there is a 3 extension that counters hit launch. It's a safe high. Doing a jab check after df4, 2 could kill you. I see only two ways to deal with it : 1) You can visualy confirm the HW transition and jab (or duck if the string is completed) but the jab comes out slower and exposes you to eating her moves from HW (the power crush or the high crushing d4). 2) You can just dick jab both options. The reward is small though and Reina can just low parry you if you do it too much. Summary, it's a very good string. No perfect way to deal with it. Or you have to be extremly sharp with your reaction/punish. I may be not sharp enough I don't know but I've been labing this string and I see no easy way out.

you kinda missed heaven's wrath into 3, 4, into heaven's wrath again, she is very plus on block and and its very oppressive in heat, she can keep spamming it unless you interrupt it with a jab mid air

6:30 seems the sweep follow ups track, but from what I see they are low and high Can you see the sweep when stepping before the followup comes and duck on reaction?

Im a scrub orange rank so dont roast me but how do i deal with 1 1 jab pressure? It feels like im aways interrupted by her double jab and when i duck they finish the string mid or stagger with df1 poke. And im just in jail all day before she even needs to go into a stance. Do i crouch jab? Ss? Timing issue?
