This helped me when I was shadowing a physician. It’s months later than when I first watched it, but I remember watching it then, the night before my first OR shadow, nervous that they wouldn’t let me it, but then seeing your video. You helped little ole nervous me out, so thank you. I admire you and may God be with you in your future endevours

The scrub tops where I work have a deep v-neck in the front. For more coverage, a second scrub top can be worn backwards ;-) thanks for this video. I only wish my faculty had disposable head coverings in the second style you showed

This has been a very informative video. I am a nurse and I work in surgical ICU. I have wondered what kind of covering goes over the hijab. This answers my question very thoroughly.

In Europe your employer can legally tell you to remove religious symbols and clothing (including hijab). At the moment the Patents can ask you to remove when in surgery.

My mother has been a nurse for 35 years in Europe. Never has anyone ever mentioned her hijab. The west has something called freedom. Sad that you haven't heard of it yet.

You have to be able to cover everything with a sterile cloth. You can clearly do that (especially after you put the mouth covering on. I would look up what women do in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

It is wrong to wear a full sleeve dress in the operation theater because there the hands of the person participating in the operation need to be sterilized and this action i.e. full sleeve dress prevents it.

No .. I think this is extremely difficult 😓, where we don't have the gown nor the head gears in obstetrics and gynecology OR's .. we just had the short sleeved and the long V necked OR dresses and nothing else .. and, when I said, I won't be able to take the long sleeved dress which I was wearing underneath, I had to finally step out of the OR 😒😞

This is not hijab tho. This is a headcover but not hijab according to shariat. The hijab should be draped across the chest and the shoulders should be covered. Sisters please don’t dilute ur religion like this just for rizq.

BADAR UDDIN they're just the head covers used by men with beards and used by the orthopaedic surgeons, they should be at most hospital centres if you ask. Best of luck to her!
