Having done machining in trades college, the drilling and tapping done here was hard to watch Also currently being an HVAC tech, no more than 2 layers on 27 TPI..... 3 4 layers AND pipe dope.... wtf smh

Thanks for the input, I'm sure you love critiquing amateurs on KZfaq because u couldn't do that to an actual peer as they would tear you up. All ten radiators worked perfectly, no drips even with excess tape, pipe dope and vise grips, who knew.

These radiators only have a single steam line feed and no return. How did you convert or install the water return? I didn't see that in this video. Thanks.

you tap that radiator wrong ,bleeder goes to the o positive side of the radiator valve

I'm about to convert steam radiator to hot water. what is the benefit for installing the bleeder on opposite side?

Yep, I'm not a pro so I wasn't aware that it made a difference what side it was on, but it worked non the less. System seemed to operate well.

Looked to me he covered the bleeder with thread tape.

I noticed that in the video as well, it worked non the less but I would definitely pay more attention to that issue.

why drill that plug could be sized down to inch a quarter by one eighth,, blk bushing,

You could have just removed the plug and changed it to a reducer bushing by one eighth by inch and a half
