I told the wife to give me a lock, she started spinning it, I said "nope, I don't want the combo". I did the first step, slight pressure clockwise until it stops, got 0, added 5 in my head. But the second step, I immediately went counter clockwise with the same pressure until it stopped, 31. put in 5,31 and the worked it back every 4 numbers and BOOM, it opened at 1. She couldn't believe when I walked up the stairs with it opened. only took 5 minutes on my first unknown combo lol. I will never trust these locks again.

Thank you sooooo much!! My daughter forgot her combination for the lock she had for her dance locker. This was the least complicated of the tutorials. My only problem was exerting the right amount of pressure on the shackle.

Shockingly this actually worked on a Master lock that’s been around the house for more than a decade. Took about an hour and several tries at the second number because getting the right amount of tension on the shackle is tricky. Completely surprised me when the lock actually opened. Had to true up both the second and third number by 1 to find a combo that worked when I wasn’t tensioning the shackle. My wife had written a combo on the back of the lock on a piece of tape. She must of thought it was a different lock, because none of the numbers were even close to the actual combo. I had tried other KZfaq techniques in the past, spending many hours and writing down all kinds of calculations. None of that worked, but this did.

My lock is so old and worn that it grinds the whole way so you can't tell if it's a point 🙄😕

Nailed it - just as instructed. The first number is hardest, but it's going to be the one that feels different when you've got the tension right - kinda like a double click in stead of a single click.

Finally got my lock open! Still don't get how to figure out the second number, but since the first one for mine was also 22 I just tried 25 for the second and BAM it worked. Even thought the third one was different.

The combination is 22-26-6. Many Master combination locks have two numbers with the same ending digit. They rarely or maybe never mix odd and even numbers on their locks.

I did it in class ( I’m a freshman and my friend has a master lock she found) I told her “Let me crack it.” so after. 4 hours aka 4 periods of school, and after 100 combinations I cracked it with this video😂

Every video I’ve seen talks about applying the right pressure like my lock just grinds, and when I apply a little less, it’ll lock sometimes, the just spin and not lock again.

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE SECOND AND THIRD NUMBERS: Consider the fact that your second number may ACTUALLY be the number you find is your 'wall' as shown in step 2. I shit you not, it took me twenty minutes and my combo ended up being 12-38-12, and 38 is my 'wall' number.

Worked for me. Done it the mathematical way, but this was way faster.

I got it... me... I opened it... thank you.

Maintain medium pressure and rotate until fell a sticking point, add 5 to that number. And that’s the first number. Rotate counter clockwise with as much pressure without locking out until it stops, rotate the other direction until stops, that’s the second number. Reset the lock and put on the first and second combo in the lock . Than maintaining pressure while rotating until you feel a groove check it, if it isn’t that one keep going and checking for the right one. Then the lock should open.

it may be because my lock is newer but a process for the last one i found easier is applying medium pressure and just spinning, and you’ll find the shackle coming loose at one oart, and then just pull

I was looking at this video cause I found an old lock in my room and couldn't remember the combination. After watching it I realized something, I just entered the exact numbers he found out and was able to open my lock. We had the same combo😂

Why after you found the first number 22 did you rotate it counter clockwise to 19 but say it was 20 then say now let's find the second combination ? Did you add 5 to the second combination too? Am I the only one who got lost at that moment?
