I have but one mindset: Be top 10 no matter where you are or what you do. You don't feel the baggage of that cut throat competition gawking at you with red, fired up eyes. At the same time, you don't feel the deep, sulking abyss of "Only if I had done better". You can still engage in learning actively to be better, but never feel the need of cramming up info just to bypass a couple of your peers.

Education should be inclusive and not exclusionary… every exam in India focuses more on elimination thus ignoring individual values and learnings and this is what we are fed since our childhood. Like lord Krishna said, Education should be the quality of your character rather than a tool to achieve something ( material). Education should build capability and humility (essential to accept that you need to learn more--aka to have some room for growth , empty your arrogance that you know everything).
