Hi! I've always wondered and had no idea how to identify high-yield and core concepts are in a subject so I could apply the 80/20 rule in my studies. Thank you for helping 😭❤

hey just wondering, when doing practice questions do you recmooned completing as many as possible then looking at the solutions later, complete one question and check the solutions, or read the question and solutions and try drill it into your head

complete one question, then check solutions - always. you’ll see that many questions after the first few will have similar answers or answers with parts from the previous solutions. This way helps drill things into your head better in my experience

How did you end up doing on exams you crammed on in university?
@smahaday
@smahaday 2 ай бұрын
Usually did decent (60% - 70%) but tried to avoid cramming as much as possible. It should be a last resort!

@@smahadaydo you think it’s possible to score 70s-80s in 3 exams and 2 essays in 5 different modules in 9 weeks (when you know nothing) and have you done anything similar?
@smahaday

Yes, 100% it is possible. Although slightly different, I did 4 exams (summer resits) and scored 65%+ in all of them after starting from scratch (completely new content) and studying for about 11 weeks. Similar situation to yours. You need to have a routine. Make a plan for how you are going to spread everything over the next 9 weeks and stick to it. My life was constant studying for those 11 weeks, but since I gave myself a plan, I was able to cover everything. Think of it as an intense summer study course that you are giving to yourself. Good luck!
