You're lucky! My dog sleeps on me, I usually fall a sleep on my couch, on my days off. 🤣🤣🤣 My husband have to wake me up, Snowvia is always on me. I have to put her in her crate. Like literally carry her over there, she's a lap dog. ♥️

Hi Pluto. The accidental bathroom in the crate does happen for young pups and usually gets better with time. It can help to make sure they are walked multiple times throughout the day and right before going into the crate. Eventually, dogs train themselves on expected potty times.

hey I just got a new pitbull puppy about 4 days ago too. i was advised to take her out every hour. i know, it’s a lot lol but puppies are really like human babies and need a lot of attention. usually she has to pee when she wakes up & as soon as she eats or drinks a lot. i limit water about 3 hours before bed and that helps with not having accidents in the middle of the night. ive been keeping her in her crate mostly (ive made it comfy with a dog bed & a few chew toys) until she is fully potty trained. i also recommend getting absorbent pee/poop pads & placing them around the house, & begin training your dog to potty on these. it will help from staining the carpet and keeping odors. its hard but you just have to pay attention to your pet & recognize their patterns and it will get easier. hope this helps we’re in this together!

@@Chewy Thank you so much for your reply! No, it's not near the large dogs. One of the dogs is having a hard time accepting him into our home, so we were trying to give him his own space. Would love your advice on how to get the dogs to get along better. The puppy is constantly nipping at the other two and one of our dogs growls at him constantly (won't snap, just growls). Fostering is much harder than we expected... and with a puppy, it's causing mass chaos! :(

Although many dog owners may feel guilty for crate training their canine companions, enclosed spaces create a shelter for your dog to rest and relax. Crates help dogs learn to self soothe, or deal with their anxiety, during situations where they become distressed, like during fireworks, a thunderstorm, or construction.

Hi, Keenan! We understand every pet is different, and may not require crate training. Crate training is an excellent way to work on housebreaking your new dog. Crating is also a safe and easy way to keep your dog confined when you are out of the house until they can be trusted not to chew or destroy things in your absence. Crating at mealtimes with multiple dogs is an easy way to make sure they each get to eat all of their food. A crate in your car is also the safest way for them to travel. There will also probably be times in your dog’s life when they have to be crated, such as while staying at a boarding kennel or if they need to stay at the veterinary clinic for a treatment or surgery. Some injuries also require your dog’s activity and exercise to be limited during the healing process, and the training can help prepare them for any of these situations. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to let us know.

hey Diana, we do not recommend leaving your pups in their cage for this long period if at all avoidable, but if so they should definitely provide a way for them to be able to hydrate themselves during this time.
