As a beginner trying to soak up as many different techniques, for all kinds of situations, Photoshop is quite overwhelming. I've watched A LOT of good KZfaq tutorials and am starting to get the hang of the basics. Your video is telling me your knowledge is very high and you make everything look easy. For me it's both frustrating and hopeful: I've still got a lot to learn, but eventually I'll be able to create some awesome stuff, if I'll stick to getting better 👍 Thank you for showing your skills.

I'm pushing my fifth year in photography. I study literally 6 to 8 hours daily weather it be editing or just out shooting. I love to watch other people added because you learn tricks that they use. I'm almost 50 years old and you know I really wish we had KZfaq all whole life's with tutorials. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. I make videos myself and I know how much work goes into them. Thank you so much

I must have most - maybe all - of your Photoshop assets, and I am pretty pleased with them. I especially like the flares, and I used one of the concrete textures in a project today. I like that they are big enough to use in high res projects. They are good value as well.

Hey Rikard, love that you give free tutoring on KZfaq and have taken all your courses etc. Really added to my skills as a graphic designer and photographer. Did however notice that you ended up with a 3 legged chair😊 not a big deal but once I saw that it really stood out to me. Love your work and so inspired

I have just subscribed to your channel, I watched running videos with three ponies and I was absolutely fascinated. So I’ve just seen you again and watch this one blown worry I had can’t Photoshop. I haven’t really got much an idea how to use it. Unfortunately I am 61-year-old in school and was an important to my mother as she had 10 of us to bring up so we all work from an early age. This hasn’t stopped me doing any job I wanted to do how do I am good with my hands, but I cannot put pen to paper and the fact that this iPad Pro has got this predictive text is an island me to communicate with people which is out of this world. However it does make some pretty damn bad mistakes so you have to talk really clearly and be in a quiet room. Thanks very much for sharing and I will keep practising the reason I don’t sign up for any courses is because me and paperwork, not good, thanks again look forward to your next one. ❤

Wonderful color grading. Liked using soft light with the gradient map. Wonder if it's easier to add dust and mist to a picture by painting it in than relying on an overlay image. Maybe it's just me, but the texture and colors of the butterflies could match the image better.

Fantastic tutorial, Rikard! I've just started to "...jump into the pool..." on learning PS and wonder if you have any suggestions for a beginner. I have purchased your complete catalog and I'm trying (albeit not very well) to copy your approaches to each project. So, is there a book I should buy? Is there a special cheat sheet I should obtain or develop? Just wondering if you have any "secrets." Again, wonderful education! Thanks!!!
@nuclylearn
@nuclylearn 3 жыл бұрын
Start with the Photoshop Basics for Photographers course. That one is the "primer" on Photoshop. Once you've done that course, I would recommend doing the Color Grading Masterclass. From there, you can do the rest of the courses in any sequence you'd like. The only real secret to learning Photoshop is that the Karate Kid method works best. Just go through the actions of doing a project (following a tutorial or course). Do it enough times and eventually you'll realize you know Photoshop.

@nuclylearn
@nuclylearn 3 жыл бұрын
@@kevinetherington9522 In professional work, I would purchase the stock from Shutterstock or Adobe Stock or use my own photos. I might use elements from free stock, but not something recognizable-small details or textures. I'm primarily a graphic designer so most of my work uses images from other photographers although personal projects are usually my own photographs.

Hey I hate to bother you again but I bought the class that you were featured in called creative Foundry. Now, when you look at the attic shows so many things that are not and I repeat are not included any of the classes or tutorials. It makes it appear that you get all this stuff but 90% of the stuff included is nothing but overlays with no tutorials to go with the overlays. Then one of my biggest complaints as I bought the class to watch when I go on my Mountain trips. And you can't download it you have to watch it with an internet connection and certain times I don't have internet connections in the mountains and that's when I want to watch the classes. Is there anyway that you can talk to the guys at the creative Foundry so that they include the classes that goes with the overlays and also make it so we can actually download the videos and not have to login and then try to find the class each and every time that way we just have it on our phones or tablets and we can pop it up whenever wherever. $300 for pretty much a few KZfaq style like videos and about $50 worth of overlays I feel is a bit excessive. I don't know. I love you and I love your work I'm just not happy with how creative Foundry put together that package
@nuclylearn
@nuclylearn 11 ай бұрын
Hey, we aren't associated with Creator Foundry anymore. They are selling a product similar to our Creating Atmosphere bundle, that does not include professional training. If you bought their package last year, when Nucly's products were still in it, please write to rikardrodin at nucly.com and I'll credit you the course on our site. From there you'll be able to download the course videos that you want to take with you for offline viewing.
