Thank you for this demo. I had a question regarding an issue I'm having with it though. On the measure it seems to be only pulling either the min or max status, not the inbetween. Have you had issues with this before ? or do you have any idea what it could be?

Great video, question: is there a way to remove the status from the matrix row but have a single line based on project that displays both all status within the calendar year? and also sort it based on starting date by project?

i don't follow the logic in the return. i can't get 1's to show up. as in, all of my start dates are Greater than the min calendar date, so i am confused on how your earliest calendar date is GREATER than your start dates, and how the same with the end date. what kind of calendar do you have where your latest calendar date is less than your end date??

Hi there, very nice solution. My only complaint is when you want to use year or month in the column instead of days it falls apart. Simply ignoring starting and ending period or starting and ending year respectively thus resulting null instead of 1.

The Collumn Values DAX formula gives me a 1 for the start en finish date, but for the values in between it creates a blank row on the top and puts a 1 there. Any solution to this?

I have used this for resource tracking and i have replaced your 'Project' Column with 'Name' and your 'Task' Column with 'Projects so that I can see Names and the days where people are working on Projects. I have also replaced your 'Status column with 'Utilization count. Would i then be able to add a new column for each name that aggregates the Utilization count for days where there is overlap of start and finish dates on the projects they are working on ? And IF the Utilization count is more than 1 for the days with overlaps then I would be able to condition format

Can you able to develop the same with out adding the multiple rows but only one row which can be the current complete month day 1 to day max data.

If the project duration is just one day, It's not populating over the gantt chart. Could you please advise here....

I really liked this method! Great tutorial. I’m looking for a solution to show project tasks on the same line. What do you think? To be clear each project would make up the lines of the gantt and multiple task show per project on a signal line over time. I do not have take that overlap, they are repeating tasks.

my date field in column is shwing up only if I check on show items with no data. Moreover, it is showing all the dates from Jan 1 2022, instead of just showing up the start dates. Despite of me joining the date and start date field. Help is appreciated!
