How To Create a Net Braid | Fishnet Braid Tutorial

This hair tutorial was inspired by my love for fishing - that's right, when I'm not doing hair I love to fish for large mouth bass! The end result looks like what you'd imagine, a fish net. Discover how to create this net braid by simply tying a series of knots beginning from the front of the head to the back.

I've done something like this before, but I used too much hair, and it made it look shorter. Using just a little as an accent makes a lot of sense. I like the tip about the elastic, too.

When it comes to doing an updo on dry hair with the dry look, how do I control the fizziness without giving it the wet look? Thanks! Love Your Work!!!

Neil Strocchia thanks for the question... sorry it took some time to reply. If we want a more smooth look, it’s all about the blow dry. We take our time and really stretch dry with a boar hair bristle brush for polish. Using Redken Guts can help add control for the blow dry while keeping some body in the hair too!

I thought this was AMAZING I’m always looking for new and hip ways to braid my daughters hair for school she’s 10 so I NEVER leave her hair down due to head lice reasons her hair is down to her buttocks and if she was to catch lice OMG 😲 so i would LOVE for you to show us maybe a killer kids braid for school I mean you’re the KING of hair I just know you would come up with something NO ONE has ever seen!!!! Great tutorial her hair came out amazing and how cool was it when you were able to pull all those strands back even though they were small small strands but they weren’t in the end 🤔 VOODOO Sam Villa VOODOO!!!! Jennifer Kopenga my daughter is a red head. With the pretty color and texture. Her hair was down to the back of her knees. And I pulled it up into a ponytail and braided it everyday. And she still got lice. It wasn't fun. I had to sit with a lice comb and go through every little peice. I finally let her cut it when she got into the 7th grade. , Not too short though. it was so beautiful. and she has the thickest head of hair I have ever saw.
