I've tried using mobile phone and using my Laptop, I can never seem to get past the confirmation code step, the sms never comes though. Even when i choose the option of calling to confirm, the call does come through and I do type the code on my keypad but it then just hangs up after some few minutes. Really don't know what to do anymore

It means you are on PayPal America and not PayPal South Africa. On Google search for PayPal South Africa and click the link there and register from there.

Just go to FNB and ask for help it’s way easier. I faced that problem before and that was the quickest solution

I managed to sort it out by calling the FNB paypal customer service and it was sorted in a few minutes, I really appreciate the help 🤝🏾🙏🏾

@@tinashemadzingaidzo1589 I did, you still need a fnb online account tho, but to verify you card PayPal will take a charge from your account then after maybe 2 days it will show on your statement then you need to put the refference on the PayPal website by the card ( you will see a thing that says add code)
