Hey guys,in this tutorial I am showing you how to create an advanced scenario in aom.If you do not know anything about editing you should watch the beginner video.

When I try to play my scenario as multiplayer (even with just all bots) the game ends up crashing about 5 minutes in. Any tips for this?

Thank you for the videos ! I'm at the beggining, creating Game of Thrones, and your videos already helped. My questions are: How can I make an army to appear at the middle of the Fight to help me? (Like Tywin Lannister&Tyrells at the end of the Battle of Blackwater), and How Could I turn my side Player 3, for example prison infantry behind the Prison Gate or without it? I would like to make that If I kill a Player 2 Pharaoh, the Player 3 "Prison/Neutral" Soldiers turns into my side. Thank you for your help ! You do the "Is Dead" condition on the Pharoah then put an "Army Convert" effect on those prisoners to turn them as your Allies, make sure that the Prisoners are the units you want to Convert by Selecting them and group them as an Army

hello, how do I make the AI difficulty set to Moderate when I play online with my friend? it only lets me choose easy. thanks.

u can always just edit the ai file itself so it acts like its on hard, because theres nothing in the game that changes how the difficulty plays, its just the ai script checking "Ey im on easy mode i will do this etc etc" except titan that gives ai a 100% handicap

You can either play conquest, where wonders don't start the counter or you could out comment the wonder from the proto file

EtyNeth You go multiplayer->Lan/Direct Ip->You host a game->In the game type there should be something like Supremacy in the right of the screen click it and choose scenario and click the name of your scenario.

hey man can you help me please, i start play AOM 10 years ago, i make scenario. One week ago i create scenario with AOM The Titans expansion. But until now i don't know how to make the scenario running like random map game, i want to make it like conquest mode. I already set active to all player in the trigger option. When i start the scenario/test the ally and the enemy's villager do come out from their town center, so does the scout. But they don't do anything, just standing there. Thanks before, your help will be much appreciated. Regards :)

You have to go to scenario->Player Data->Your enemy player and click AI and select Aomdefaultai.xs and open it

@@Nanta131 They should search the Titan's Gate but they would still build wonders which you perhaps don't want if you want a conquest mode.You can disable wonders in Scenario->Forbidden Units and choose Player 2 ( and all players on your scenario) and check wonder. They won't be able to build a wonder

@@rtsgamer4337 Oh yes i disable that, they don't build wonder. But until the end of game they don't search the Titan's Gate and when i already defeat all enemies the victory announcement doesn't show up. What should i fix here? Thanks much before man :)

The enemy units can't pass the sea using boats, they don't even build docks. Do you have any idea why that's happening? PS: Your tutorial is very useful, liked it.

Μεγιστάνας Thanks a lot. It is a common problem in this game and it sound like a bug in the ai. They won't cross seas unless in aom the titans and you have to select the ai aomdefaultai.xs. Plus you have to use an already done map like Islands or Archipelago. You can't create your water map except if you dowload aom heavens water ai. Go to aom.heavengames.com and search the ai for water and dowload it. I think the enemy will cross water now

Thanks, does it have an ai where the enemies can build more town centers? Because they are staying with one through the whole game.

For the ai to be able to build town centers you need to have them aligned to the grid.This is impossible to do it by hand so I suggest to put a berry bush use unit heading trigger effect and change it to 90 and change change unit type to settlement. And then they will build on it.

Thanks for the town center thing, as for the "water" one. For multiplayer the other people need this "water" ai so as the enemy units can travel the sea? It's a fanmade scenario not a game's one.

SaiiChoX 97 There is about three triggers called Rate something: Rate research - Rate Building - Rate training you just have to modifie these and you have the gamemode (Per example set them 6 or 7 that should be good). As for the villagers you should do some work by adding them the status through set tech status of plow pickaxe and handaxe about 7 times.(I think there is a way in modify protounit way easier if you have the titans).And that's it

They should be in your editor. Try to search in effects not in conditions. You should find them at least the rate and set tech status

Well for me it isn't stupid you know,I played it from my childhood and for me it's the only game that doesn't get old,all the new games come without strategy,without even thinking as much as you should.It isn't the best Rts game, I recognized this,but it is a great one,look at it's ratings.Imagine this game was made in 2002.Much better than some actual games. Your opinion is your opinion,but try this a bit and online and I'm sure you'll regret what you said.
