Thanks!In terms of performance it's based on your hosting as a good quality host such as WPENGINE will have good site speed performance.

@@mapilitmedia Thanks a lot for your info. I instantly went to WPENGINE to check them out. I currently use another hoster with shared webspace which is cheaper, but as soon as they complain about me using too much traffic I might change (especially since today someone did recommend cloud-hosting anyway to me).

how do you get the round styling for member and group avatar under customize. This option isn't in buddypress customise for me

Thank you! Quick question: How can I make this social media site private now? Meaning, a kind of forced log-in for users when they first access the site, before enabling them to open different site pages? However, I do not want the users to have to log-in through WordPress, I have created a custom log-in instead - how can I put that front and center before the users can continue on? Thank you again, hope my question wasn't cobnfusing

I think you can just attach the links to your new custom log-in to the homepage instead of the default WordPress login used. To make the social media site private, you can just require the user to be logged in to see the activity feed else show a welcome page.

Hello, I have a question I am currently working on a project and I decided to find out more about wordpress. I see that you can install the plugin without problem, for me I need to upgrade to the business plan in order to install plugins. Is it because you have a business plan or there is another way to do it? Thanks

Hey, this may be an issue with your hosting provider. You might be limited to a certain number of plugins. You should reach out to your hosting provider for more information.

I think it's best to ask your hosting provider as they would know which plan would work better. You can start with the cheaper plan first to see if that suits your needs.

You'll have to set the membership functionality on a different url such as /members so it is not applied to the homepage.

Yeaa you can choose which pages to display the social feeds, you can also setup a fresh WordPress install on a subdirectory and do it that way so it doesn't interfere with the main site.

They should be created when you install the buddypress plugin. Try to reinstalling the plugin.

Yes, this website is mobile responsive, you can add it to your home screen just by saving the website - this will depend on the browser.
