I’ve found that changing the fullback to a wingback, and moving them as far up and central/narrow as possible works. Then in game using the dpad tactics to turn on attacking fullbacks. In my Liverpool career mode this very much replicated the taa role, better than anything else I’ve seen. Although at times he might stray too far forward into a attacking midfielder role. For Robertson, to replicate his role I changed him to a LCB on join the attack, so he occasionally comes forward and doesn’t bomb down the wing due to the attacking fullbacks dpad instruction.

Play a back 3. Have one of the winger on lm/rm and the other one to lwb/rwb. The one who is on lm/rm will play like an inverted fullback and the wing back will play like a traditional full back.

Nice video as always :). Thx a lot. However in Ultimate Team you cannot change positions. Do you think it always works, when you put these instructions on LB /RB with an attacking widht of 1 (or something like that)?

Defensive width doesn’t matter because an inverted full back only takes shape when you’re in possession👊🏻
