Love the drills. People need to understand you have to get to the zone before you finish at your shoulders, which initially will be a downward motion. Keep it up you're impacting lives.

when shortening your swing, typically you need to be tight to the box. closer to the plate.

When you do the fence drill, you're swinging down at the ball. That's not proper swing path. The 1st drill is good for strength though.

If you add in the stride as well as pitch location, you will very likely have a high launch angle with that same swing. It looks down because he is standing straight up in the video. Upward launch angle, with this short swing equals easy power.

I like that the guy is trying to help but what he is teaching is wrong! No we have slow motion video of the best hitters everyone can see they don't go "A to C" in a chopping motion at all! This is old stuff that use to be taught but incorrect and what is wrong with a lot of young hitters today!

How is anyone supposed to learn anything when literally every instruction or video has Information A and someone always says "No that's wrong; use Information B."
