So there's no way to create/edit a route with the Alltrails phone app like you can with Gaia, Viewranger, Footpath, etc, etc... Using the phone app, can I export a selected "trail near me" GPX to Connect for use with a Fenix? What is the advantage of Alltrails? Just the "trails near me", ratings, difficulty, and user photos stuff?

Yep - I paid for the pro and I can't tell you how disappointed I am with creating routes! It is HORRIBLE!

How do I modify a trail? I've already created a custom trail but realised it was wrong and would like to change sections of it. I dont want to restart from scratch

Are you able to ride a trail and record your route and upload that recording to create the map/trail.

My question as well. Mine are deer trails that go all over. I'd like to use my phones gps to record my movement and have all trials map it out.

Garmin instinct solar or non but solar is better. No need to worry about charging. Love mine

I see you are on mac. but how do you get google maps on your alltrail pro screen?

When I made this you could only create maps from the computer version of AllTrails so you just had to open up google maps in a separate tab. If you’re doing it through the mobile version of AllTrails then you can use the google maps app or just pull it up online.

@@gonehiking6032 Thank you, I have sense figured it out. My biggest problem was I was using Opera(not very friendly with maps). When I went to Chrome i had much better luck. Thank you for your replay. Fun App now that i understand how to use it. I have just been going through old hikes i have done and planning new trips. Amazing amount of information. Thanks for creating the video.

I used to be able to create a map from the app. Now I can’t find the action. It’s either buried somewhere or not included. Been pro for a few years now and I’m always hoping they will redesign this app to make it more simpler and work better. There’s too many basic functions that I need where I have to search and search for the action.
