Thank you very much. I have never used any of the herringbone links I've made because I did not care for how 'unfinished' they looked with the back all open, hollow and ugly. (I primarily make earrings and bracelets.) The double herringbone solves that problem. I am excited to go fire up the torch, ball some wire and get to wrapping.

Thank you! Yes, that was my problem with the standard herringbone weave, particularly on bracelets. I'm glad to have a solution for you! 😃

Nice presentation. I have a question. Those wire cuts that you make to finish off your work- are the ends not sharp? Is there a way to prevent sharp cut ends by folding wire into itself or around itself?

Sorry that you're having trouble. There are a couple of areas to be careful of. First is when threading on the weaving wires to begin with. I always put them on the wire so they are both coming over the wire in the same direction - then turn one so it is heading in the opposite direction and 'underneath'. Then when weaving it might be useful to think of each of these wires filling in one side of the bead. After that, it is just a matter of making sure you're wrapping each wire alternately around the headpin each side. So whenever I have two wires at the same end of the bead, I work with the one closest to the bead. Oh, and count the wires on the sides to make sure they are even. I hope that helps! It is quite easy to get confused with the wires, and I've lost count of the times I've gotten carried away with one wire instead of switching! But the result is worth it! If you're having trouble with a particular point, let me know and I'll do my best to help!

Sorry that you're having trouble. Is there anywhere in particular that you're getting stuck? As I mentioned in another reply, there are a couple of areas to be careful of. I hope that helps but if there's another area that you're getting stuck on, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Lily-Tree I think part of it is that I’m unsure when to flip the piece and go the other way. I finally did get it after watching the video slower; didn’t realize I had that option when viewing. All is well.

Thank you so much for all your tutorials . I’ve been wrapping wire now 2 years and have learned so much but still have a long way to go. I have now learned to wire weave . That is difficult to master. But I did not have any trouble herringbone weave but this double. I am not doing something correct. I have tried every way possible. It may be that your left hand dominant and I’m right, but I have tried reverse, lol. That’s really funny looking stuff.. when you are flipping around are you also working under. No one else anywhere have I seen demonstrate. Wondering if anyone else had problems. Love your work always. TFS
