The last tip about moving the light source while taking multiple shots was new to me and a great idea! Another tip I would add is to take a shot of the background and surroundings without anyone in the scene. This makes it easier to fill in background areas in Photoshop.

I know alot of wedding photographers who dare charge like 10k and they don't even know how to properly use photoshop. It's ridiculous and their photos look basic af.

Does light falloff factor into how far back you set the modifiers? If you set the modifier immediately out of frame on the lighted side will you get excessive falloff toward the dark-side?

🌟✨🌟 In that last scene you did a bunch of light pops just like someone would do in a large area real estate shoot. The only difference is that buildings don’t move as you work your way across the scene but people do. What’s the solution to that.??

F2.0 for large group?? How can this be sharp? Which camera and lens used? Any information about that?
@alanchan569
@alanchan569 3 жыл бұрын
I have shot excellent and sharp group photos with over 10 people inside at f1.8 with an entry level Nikon D5600 and 50mm f1.8 prime lens. To pull off the image, the camera must be focused in the dead middle of the group AND most importantly the group must be by as much as possible standing in the same plane of view (ie. all the subjects must be at approximately the same distance away from the camera) for it to work!
@sundaydickson

Please may I know why you're using a low aperture value (F4) here, I'm good with both the shutter speed and ISO but the aperture...? Don't you think (my own thoughts here) that there's that tendendency for some of the subjects to be out of focus?

You mentioned about adding your light in the direction of the natural light (to the left), why not place your light on the opposite side??? Would that not make for a great photo as well???
@Boleskinebeatz
@Boleskinebeatz 2 жыл бұрын
By doing that you are going against the natural light/ shadow direction and creating conflicting and confusing shadow detail and light fall off.
