After watching dozens of videos (being a total newbie on any social media) I finally managed to produce those circles (“highlights”). But nobody seems to know how to change photos (“stories”) within a highlight, without changing their order. If I try to replace a photo within a highlight, it always goes to the very end of the highlight, whereas the highlight itself jumps to the first position. I’m a massage practitioner and need to add/change info within highlights sometimes, without changing the positions of highlights and the order of the photos inside them. Is it impossible?

I can totally relate! Unfortunately there isn't a functionality right now to change the order highlights appear on your profile :/ This sucks because just like you said, sometimes I want to change what's within each highlight without moving the actual highlight topics around! Hope IG creates this feature soon ❤

Yes! That is correct! The cover of the highlights don't have to be posted to your stories, but the actual stories IN the highlight need to be added to your regular stories
