Welcome to The Creative Cove. My name is Michele and thank you for joining me today.
Today’s video is a fun little tutorial on using scraps and large playing cards that I found at a thrift shop to make a journal cover. I hope this video gives you some fun and creative ideas on how to recycle some goods that you might find laying around or at your local thrift shop. it’s a fun way to build a journal without spending a lot of money. I finally got to use my own digitals. Can you believe I’ve never actually used my digitals on my channel before lol.

When I’ve used cards in the past I had to either sand or gesso to make things stick. It doesn’t look like you are having that problem

These were Matt finish. I think the other ones have a wax coating

Love the large playing cards, you are so creative. Could you draw the frog like you had on the stamp, also is the frog stamp recorded on how you made it out of the rubber? This was a few videos ago.
