Thanks, bro! This video tutorial works, but the problem where I was stuck for a couple of hours was the storage problem (even after resizing the partition). The fix: Restart the computer and remove the USB. When the computer turns back on, plug the USB back in and go to the partition resize program. Now the USB is in 2 partitions again (even if you changed it to one before the restart). Drag the left partition over the full capacity of the USB and run the program. Now the USB is back in one partition! Now you can go to the Transmac program and place the package folder in the installation folder. I hope this will work for some of you too :).

If you're getting the Size error, Start from the beginning of TransMac / USB setup and immediately after restoring from the OS file, run the partition manager program then continue as intended. Worked for me.

yep, after diskpart done open TransMac, format flash for Mac, then recover BaseSystem.dmg and right after that run partition manager. Tested, that working fine and no more size error.

If there issue in copying files just try it. In transmac - format disk for mac- -Restore basesystem.dmg in to disk. -Then increase the partition size using paragon Hard disc manager. - copy these three files and package files which shown in video. If error occurred in copying files then just leave the transmac and -go to this pc -- usb flash drive (making for bootable) -- copy and paste same files on same destination as shown in video and rename the icon file there -- then go to refresh drive list by right clicking on left side in transmac There you will see all files. And done..

Man...! I do never ever follow anything or anyone on KZfaq and I do never like videos. But this video/tutorial made me think this is the only way I can thank you and I know this is not enough. This is the third video in this series that I have tried and the only one that worked for me. However, my first pass failed, so thinking that something went wrong, I went through the entire process a second time and it worked. I did have a problem with the Apple account login during the install, which I could not get to work, so I chose to skip the login. So thank you. Now I am updating to Ventura. After this, the next step will be to install Boot Camp and restore my files.

If you can't resize partition like me: Start from beginning, format USB disc and do everything until 9:00 . Then exit programs and start Paragon or another partititon tool. After that I was able to resize firts partition.

Thanks this worked for me, to fix the no space on mac error, RIGHT AFTER you restore image to your usb drive, partition the usb with paragon and then drag and drop the files into the drive. it worked for me hopefully it works for you

@@anonym-bd1jp so when you format the usb as readable when you try to boot from it, you must not disconnect it or anything because it will corrupt files and you have to restart over. I recommend making SURE you don't have your t2 chip Mac or firewall porevenntionn fromm letting you boot Fromm usb.

If you cant copy the files over because transmac says you dont have enough space. Try to restart your pc with the disk inside after installing the paragon Hard Disk Manager. From here, try all the steps in order again without skipping. If that still doesnt work, like me, then try installing HFS+ for windows by paragon software. I installed the trial version. Reset pc again. After the reset, i immediately opened CMD and did all the steps to prepare the drive, then opened transmac, format for mac, and then restore from that same base system file. After this i went to file explorer and i could see the drive and interact with it as if it were a normal usb, and i could follow all the steps, even resizing the partition in the hard disk manager. If youre stuck, hope this helps. If it doesnt, hopefully you find a different solution soon.

Thank you, this actually worked for me with OSX Lion. The only thing I did differently was TransMac had the option to extend the image to the entire drive after trying to restore it, so you wouldn't need to expand it later. It said it was in beta, but it worked perfect for me.

Thanks for the guide, so for everyone who have problems that i had. If u unistalled ur system macOS and u cant install new one because u cant sign in to Apple store (cuz of servises, error 403, etc) this method with usb stick works, cuz when u need to restore disk i mean macOS for boot, just check the box for expanding size.

Just a quick note to everyone, the latest version of transmac when "restoring drive" from basesystem step, has a checkbox to expand the drive, select this when restoring the drive and you will not have to expand the drive out (it says "experimental" but it works). Great video, life saver this was a nightmare before this.

Perfect tutorial, only one important tip: after using paragon hard disk manager, you have to close transmac and open again, otherwise it will not update free space from disk.

for everyone whos struggling to get rid of the no space message, simply reboot with the flash attached . i personaly do this as soon as i restore with base image as that creates a 2gb max partiton then the rest

Worked for me, I 1st changed to gpt using the resizing tool then go to transmac and while following the tutorial just (check box) the experimental icon. Then when done check the partition if it’s not 2gb. If it’s 2gb it won’t copy the last package. So (the partition) it must be your full flash drive capacity

Hi I have followed all the steps 3 times but each time after booting I get the message This disk doesn’t use the GUID Partition scheme. When I follow the instructions to select disk-partition select volume Scheme it isn’t listed. What should I do now? Thank you

I tried to install Mountain Lion but that too seems to require an internet connection. I'm pretty sure my Mac is a 2007 and needs El Capitan. But I only have an iphone Apple ID and not one that has ever used MacOS so I got the temporarily unavailable error.

I think i am doing something wrong after i select the boot drive when i restart the mac my laptop goes into recovery mode not sure what i am doing wrong. After the loading screen of internet recovery the apple logo appears and it's loading i am getting prompted to select startup disk and restart. After restarting i am getting logo screen, after that i get the install macos sierra i click on Continue and i am getting an error "the recovery server could not be contacted"

Seems I have hit another hurdle. Trying to boot from the newly created USB drive but the process only gets to the apple logo and the progress bar apparently at 100% and nothing happens. Any thoughts? UPDATE - 31/7/23 Re did the process and it installed ok

if you still get the space error for the package file, exit transmac go to partition resize it, run transmac again, and try coping package files again this worked for me.

Sad you still need a mac (to downloadm macOS). I am searching complete guide offline installer, and bootable made with Windows. I know macOS like High Sierra exist with patcher, but also that need mac machine. But you're amazing doing those tutorials. Thank you. Please let me know whenever it's possible to make bootable + install ONLY using windows. Your earlier video about his was also succes making bootable (this time only using windows) but you only reach Diskutil... My problem is recovery (recovery server could not be contacted high sierra). I did sync time, I tried with LAN internet since wifi didn't wokred. I have no access to another mac, also can not borror, only this as I am trying to get back to life. Thanks you.

Happened to me! Just close the trans mac and remove your USB disk then insert again, open trans mac and copy the package folder ..done
