amazing video just a few days ago i was also learning a way to make alphas btw don't use materialize to create alpha use laigter it is a free program it will save height map at 120 ppi while materialize saves it at 72ppi and it will give u higher quality detail in ur alphas

@@in2vert what i meant is materialize produce a lower quality height map but laigter hill give a higher quality height map i tried both and compared the results laigter gave better details compared ti materialize

Amazing video. Please, you mentioned that we shouldn't sculpt skin pores. How do we go about creating them efficiently then if we don't sculpt them? Like, the pores and bumps.

Hi, I made a 3d model of a fish in fusion360, and now I would put a fish scale on that model, as far as I understand, I can import an stl file of fish and create a low poly model on it and use that to put fish scales on the model, am I on the right track? do you have any tutorial that could help, thanks

how you bake the details of multires in blender and substance painter??

can someone please help? when doing skin texture pore details, how do i only add the texture and not affect the whole area? for example, i add texture on the nose, the nose then becomes bulkier because the alpha overall drags the mesh outwards, not just the pores?

You have to adjust the Sample Bias. I explain this also at some point in this video.

Well, when we apply the multi-resolution modifier, the mesh be high poly again So what should we do next?

You use one version with applyed multires to bake details onto the one without multires, so your low poly mesh.

Remesh/Dyntopo is for sculpting the shape, Multires for the find Details.
