Very creative. This sort of solves the problem with the missing "form" visual. I usually solve it by creating a matrix, dropping everything into the Measure pane, and telling it to show values in rows. And then I place "----------------" in the columns to make them all appear on one line. This looks much cleaner and better than my method. More laborious but much cleaner - perfect for a perfectionist :) Thanks!

Really creative. I see there's a repeat function (like in Excel). Perhaps on row 5 you could have REPT(UNICHAR(127),3) instead - slightly shorter.

It’s a really nice method to improve on the current limitations of multi row cards. I can think of quite a few scenarios that it can be applied. Just wish that almost every way of making powerbi look remotely good didn’t involve hacking together tons of DAX. Can you imagine trying to use this as a standardised display of different combinations of fields across multiple reports on top of an enterprise data set? What a nightmare to manage.. I wonder if there’s a way to make layout into standard reusable measures? MS need to start putting some serious work into improving the visuals,because out of the box they’re looking a little dated now.

This is perfect for what I want to do! Thank you! But now to my next problem. My data has percent value with 2 decimals. (13.64%). But when I follow your method, the values are formatted and displayed as decimals (0.1364)

`UNICHAR(127)` doesn't work on iPhones, it has zero width. No-Break Space `UNICHAR(160)` does work and on desktop. This is the same character that is used in HTML tables for force the renderer to draw the cell outline for "empty" cells, so is widely supported. As my list was quite long, creating and using these two DAX variables helped the reliability of my expression VAR indent = UNICHAR(160) & UNICHAR(160) & UNICHAR(160) VAR nl = UNICHAR(10)

You can format the entire column bold the normal way, to format individual fields is a bit harder

Excellent solution to creating a next level multicard! I've tried this and the Unichar(10) isn't causing the next line of text to be on the next line, it remains on the same line. Through research (aka Google) some sites are stating to turn on Word Wrap, however that option isn't available for multi-row cards. How are you able to get yours to move to the next line with the Unchar(10)?

It's a creative workaround for formating cards, but there is a point that was not touched in this video: Using a table or matrix will add ugly column headers written like "column name" and "column 2_" that Power BI does not allow to disable and you will need another workaround like changing font color or rename the column with non printable characters to make them invisible and hide.

Hi hope you are doing well. I have two questions. 1. Have you uploaded any video related to setting Goals & KPIs? If yes please share the link with me as I want to learn the same. 2. Regarding managing alerts on Dashboard is there any options through which I can set a general alert? For example in my Department there are various processes related to staff benefits i.e. processing of loans, reimbursements and final settlement. Each process has an agreed Turnaround Time (TAT) I want to set alert so that if any staff's request exceeds the agreed TAT then Power BI should highlight those records for me on my Dashboard alert so that I can instruct my staff or ask them the reason for delay in processing of staff request. Many thanks in advance for your usual help.

Hey ! I've tried this method, but unfortunately UNICHAR(10) does not seem to skip any line... I've read online I need to activate a word wrap option, but since the UI change, I cannot find any relevant screenshot or indications as to where this option may be located? Could anyone tell me?

I can only find the word wrap option for my measure Title, but that's not what I'm after in this case... So right now I'm using a regular card, but it's not looking as neat and aligned as your multirow card :(
