I realize this vid is 4yrs old, but I have been searching for a tutorial for a few weeks now and this was BY FAR the ABSOLUTE BEST and MOST informative one. It’s a shame that nobody makes good beginner videos anymore. THANKS SourceCAD for being there when I really needed help.

Nice going, I even created a layout that had both ANSI A and ANSI B on one template and it worked wonderfully, whenever I selected from template it prompted me to select one of the two layouts. Didn't know it could work like that.

nice explanation, very easy to understand I have a question though. We already had created the template in ANSI A dimensions. Also, we modified the page layout to ANSI A. The question is, why we had to fit the template to layout tab using stretch command? I mean it should have fitted perfectly in the layout page.

Bro you could highlight the entire drawing and Autocad will scale the title block to the size of the paper. The scale that you make your drawing will still reflect your original.

Excellent video...however my Model is still way smaller than layout even after i have done Page set up. Have drawn the title block to scale of the paper, copied and pulled across to paper space and the model is now much bigger, again after page set up. Drawing A2, Layout A2 594X420.

I did the regen option after adding a viewport but still it did not refresh, it kept saying "viewport scale" It'd be great if you could recomend some tips for that. Thanks!

my drawing didn't fit in layout. all the drawing came in one layout how to select particular portion? like we select window during print.

Do we have to repeat the process for every new layout in the dwg file?
